Criscito is still recovering from a very serious knee injury, I don't think he's expected to be even available for training until at least October so it's understandable that they are bringing in a capable player in the mean time. I do hope that he returns to Serie A in the near future; quality such as his is needed in the league.

Because we are not THAT desperate besides Bale will be a forward when he comes anyways so why should we get another striker. our forwards will be: Ronaldo, Jese, Morata, Benz and Bale for two spots

EC (not Marca lol) is saying that Flo and CR7 have reached agreement on the important deal points for an extension... they met personally in the US. EC also saying that CR7 is expected to sign the extension within the next month once the details and paperwork have been done.

EC is reliable... but nothing is done until it's done.

I believe they are both running a story, Marca is saying he will earn 17m, EC saying he will earn 16m. Either way it is looking very likely he will renew soon, tbh I never doubted it
