Yeah... Kompany will make a difference. But other than that, Richards, Lescott and Kolarov are no worse than Zabaleta and Clichy defensively.

City's defense will cost them yet again in Europe. Just not enough quality there.

I don't even think that's fundamental part. Pelle has things he wants to do defensively that takes time to teach and takes people locked in to execute. Zero chance people waltz into the box like SES did just now during the actual season, no matter who is on the pitch.

Whether creatively or with goals, Stephan El Shaarawy continues to bail us out. Wonderful kid.

Allegri's change to push the dual pivot back and have Boateng press in the middle of Petagna and SES was *bleep* brilliant.
