I was a little bit dissapointed Pep didnt play Lahm in midfield vs Dortmund. I guess he wanted to try out a different midfield but I think that game would of been a real test for Lahm's capability there.

I see why Pep likes him midfield for sure though, he has very similar style and skills to a centre player.

SES will eventually move central as his LAM position is quite out of his natural spot. Unless you parallel echoes to Ribery being moved central, in him being recognized for his creativity.

I don't deny that Pep mmaybe wants to play him as CB, but for sure this cup is no indication for our starting Bundesliga lineup.

And this is not the first match he can play in pre season, i think he was available for the last 3 or 4 matches.

I believe he'll stick with Boa-Dante CB, as Bad won't be back anytime soon, but Martinez can be a back up if any of them get injured, or in certain games they can risk playing him there.
