Kaka - Is he finished?
I would have thought he'd be looking for a switch this summer, even a loan deal, in the hope of playing more and securing a place in Selecao for the World Cup next year, or is he just content to pick up a huge wage sitting on Madrid's bench?

Re: Kaka - Is he finished?
I don't think too many clubs are keen on him anyway with his wages, so probably every party is quite satisfied with having Kaka as a squad player at Madrid.
Maybe Ancelotti will give him appearances, we'll see.

Re: Kaka - Is he finished?
I don't know.
It's really disappointing what it's come to because i'm a big fan of his. I hope he can still offer something going forward, but it's hard to see.
Still have a bit of hope for him.

Re: Kaka - Is he finished?
Kaka has lost pace. He relied on that a lot. Because of his injuries, he also doesn't play physically anymore... a lot of what he does is finesse now.
So, yes, the Kaka of old is finished. But he can still play imo.

Re: Kaka - Is he finished?
It's a shame that a player of his calibre seems to be going out with a whimper.
His move to Real Madrid at the time might have seemed like a good one, but in reality, it wasn't.
Playing at the World Cup in his home country can't be that important to him.

Re: Kaka - Is he finished?
Never thought of it like this, but yea, lots of players would look to play in other clubs to get regular football. Although at Real, being pretieges and well treated and all I guess, often u see players happy just to be there... personal choice I guess...

Re: Kaka - Is he finished?
hes obviously content on the bench, making that ridiculous wage. he could have taken a paycut to go on loan to milan, but didnt.
hes going to finish out his contract at madrid because no one is interested in a run down SS with his wages.
and then he will probably go to the club who offers the biggest amount, probably the MLS

Re: Kaka - Is he finished?
Virtually finished. Still has a bit to offer but it's minimal to be honest. 5 goals and 4 assists from 27 appearances last season..

Re: Kaka - Is he finished?
I don't get why he keeps staying every year. Isco and Ozil are better, younger and have a lot of potential. They aren't going to be dropped (if both start) for Kaka who's 31.

Re: Kaka - Is he finished?
Madrid should flog him to Monaco/PSG, could easily recoup what they paid for him that way

Re: Kaka - Is he finished?
Whats not to get? He likes the city, his house, going to church, and getting paid. All this has obviously become more important to him than playing. why would he take a pay cut to work his ass of vs these younger kids? Maybe after winning the world player of the year/ballon d'or and winning the UCL/World Cup...he was probably like screw it. More lazy than Ronaldinho after he also got his success young. Atleast Ronalindho kept moving around trying to play and win. Kaka is just like whatever. Likes just saying out of the spot light all together and getting his money (if he's so religious, he would know greed is a sin)
Shame really, always been a fan

Re: Kaka - Is he finished?
Spanish media claim Ricky Kaka will be out for a month with a muscular injury, but Milan have not confirmed any setback.
The Brazilian made his ‘debut’ for the Rossoneri in Saturday night’s 2-2 draw with Torino and played for 70 minutes.
There are rumours in the Spanish Press that Kaka has picked up a thigh strain that could rule him out for up to four weeks.
It would be a heavy blow if true, as Milan already have a huge injury crisis on their hands going into the Champions League against Celtic and Serie A with Napoli next weekend.
Riccardo Montolivo suffered a thigh strain against Torino and Andrea Poli was left with a heavy bruise to his leg.
They joined the already sidelined Stephan El Shaarawy, Mattia De Sciglio, Giampaolo Pazzini, Mathias Silvestre, Daniele Bonera and Ignazio Abate.
