Yes, No way around it. I don't think Josh has much of a career with us anymore, He is now directly behind MVG and could be behind Oscar and KDB as well.

Would not be surprised to see Joshy not make it at this point. Has stagnated in his development for years now and seems more concerned with his off-the-pitch persona as a footballer than with what he's doing on it. Far too caught up with the lifestyle and his progression has suffered for it. Mainly that television star broad he's shacked up with.


Chalobah is far more likely to make it than he is for me, and as far as the next 2-3 years is concerned, I think even Lewis Baker or RLC is more likely to make the step up into the first team than he is. Which says alot.

Exactly, Chalobah is our midfield hope and truth be told, a Chalobah-Van Ginkel Midfield does sound very exciting as both are very complete players.

Will depend on the decision over ChaloBOSS next season. If he stays, him, Mikel and Romeu will probably be deemed enough as far a the naturally defensive half of the pivot is concerned. If he goes, I think we're light there, both in depth and in quality.

Chalobah should be loaned to an EPL side. Bring in DDR who can play a couple of seasons before Chalobah takes over. Then we'll see the great Combo of Cahlobah-Van Ginkel.

It would seem a good fit that way, but the question is whether the club see it that way themselves.
