Can you explain HOW Neymar is going to solve Barcelona's ongoing issues?

Barcelona's top two problems in the past season has been their pressing (or lack thereof) and incapability in the aerial department. Which Neymar isn't going to solve.

In big games they do..... Messi has been shut down a lot easier because the other forwards offer nothing.

Neymar has been brought in for this very reason, Barca had a major offensive problem in big games this season am i the only one who see's that?

Also its a big reason why they leak goals..... they can't push teams back and thus its easier for teams to build attacks and thus the whole team is effected.

I also don't understand why Villa and Ibra are compared to Neymar...

1. Both are central players who demand the ball in areas Messi operates in.

2. Neither unlike Neymar are comfortable and naturally play wide.

3. Neymar presses extremely well.

Are you all just lazy? there is nothing to support that he's going to struggle like they did. Absolutely nothing.

Depends on the freedom he gets too. If he's allowed to dribble, try tricks etc, then he'll add another dimension to Barca. If not then he could just be another Sanchez.

Attacking wise he'll make Barca more unpredictable, however defensively they still need a CB and some height.

They don't. One, Messi doesn't press at all. It might sound ridiculous but he should be rested and used in rotation so he is always fresh. Also Xavi is getting old and his lack of pace in recovery has become blatantly obvious (I suggest you watch Barcelona vs PSG, countless of obvious examples in the whole 90 minutes).

Messi + Villa ended with a CL + League double...

Then Villa broke his leg.

However, as someone said, we don't stand a chance if we don't make some changes, mainly Xavi should be benched for Thiago and we should get our motivation back and sort some tactical problems.

Barcelona barely pressed as a team this season. We saw a glimpses of it in the Milan second leg, as we also saw Spain VS Uruguay, but they seem to fail to do it against some of the bigger team, or at least fatigue kicks in to early.

we will buy a DM (hopefully Illaramendi) and we will actually have upgraded all our deficiencies. Barca are in too much debt to get good players

you guys will still start Pique, Xavi, Pedro, Alba next season lmao

Arbeloa won't even see the bench for us and in attack we have got Isco as a new signing, Modric will take over from Khedira and hopefully Illaramendi from Xabi

so while we make improvements you are actually staying the same

Also notice how in a season filled with controversy we still won all Clasicos rofl

Barca's defensive problems are more tactical than any individual.

There were a joke tactically and pressing as a team last season.

They could buy Thiago Silva and it still wouldn't change much if they don't sort out the aforementioned tactical and pressing issues.
