Counting down to 25
Confirmed departures
Mario Yepes
Massimo Ambrosini
Bojan
Confirmed Arrivals:
Saponara
Vergara
Return from Loan:
Taiwo
Emmanuelson
Promoted:
Cristante
Petagna (switch from primavera and first team----very little play time) Therefore will not be included in the 25
**The random primavera players that have zero chance of ever playing for Milan will not be included (the ones that we bought fully on the envelopes)
Squad as of now:
GK:
Abbiati
Gabriel
Amelia
DEF:
Abate
Zapata
Mexes
De Sciglio
Constant
Vergara
Zaccardo
Bonera
Salamon
Antonini
Taiwo
Didac Vila
DEF:
Montolivo
De Jong
Prince
Saponara
Urby
Flamini (contract has a 75% chance of being renewed)
Muntari
Nocerino
Traore (wants to stay )
ATT:
Balotelli
SES
Pazzini
Niang
Robinho
29 players total
100% Departing:
Taiwo
Didac Vila
Maybe Departing:
Robinho
Nocerino
Prince
Flamini
Antonini
Best case scenario is they all leave 29 -7 = 22
Worst case scenario only Taiwo and and Didac Vila leave giving us 27 players two over the ideal number
bad scenario Taiwo, Didac Vila, and Robinho leave giving us 26 players and no signings
still bad scenario Taiwo, Didac Vila, Robinho, and Nocerino leave leaving room for zero signings
ok scenario Taiwo, Didac Vila, Robinho, Prince, and Nocerino leave leaving room for one signing
better scenario Taiwo, Didac Vila, Robinho, Nocerino, Prince, and Antonini leaving room for leaving two signings
I lied, the best scenario we could have, Taiwo, Didac Vila, Robinho, Flamini, Antonini, Nocerino, Prince, and Traore leave leaving room for 4 signings!
If we sign one person my choice: Poli
If we sign two: Poli and Honda
If we sign four (won't happen): Poli, Honda, Vucinic, Astori
Thoughts?

Re: Counting down to 25
That we have so many players , players that we don't need actualy , it's mostly Galliani's fault.
He better fix things aright this summer. Find buyers for the unwanted players , agree to lower sales , even threaten those who don't want to leave despite being told to , with exclusion if they don't agree .
The club has a good reputation with how we treat our players , yet no reputation should be more important than the well fare of the team.
It makes me rage when i read that Traore's agent says Traore "wants to stay" . This is again Galliani's fault.Let me explain , kids who might have watched their first Milan game this season , must have wondered what Traore did on the field wearing a Milan shirt.He's become a laughing stock on the field , but he wants to stay ..i wonder why . Galliani is too subtle about players who he wants out and although he must have his reasons , i fail to see why this wouldn't work ;
Galliani could have specificaly said that the club intents to sell him , bang , he could never say this . What's even more ridiculous , is that his agent would probably do half the work it's needed to offload him by now. Instead , Galliani must spend time for Traore and most probably nothing will change. Like he had spend so much time on Tevez and Jube bought him , well done uncle fester
What i am trying to say is , Galliani has a lot of work to do and it's not easy. He has to bend and offload players at any cost this summer . Although it must be much more difficult than i can imagine to offload so many players , he did a "good start" with Ambrosini. If he had the balls to offload Ambrosini like he did , better offload the real scrubs as well .

Re: Counting down to 25
Urby is confirmed staying. I was thinking, if we do not sell enough players to fulfill another signing would our team be that bad? I don't think so, this 11 is still very competitive. We would just have to trust the raw talent of Saponara, a talent I believe in.

Why did you guys buy Traore ?
Taiwo is so bad loll ,
Urby ? i thought he was something special , well like Babel, Van der viel ...
Couldn't Nocerino be good as back up ? you won't get much from his sale .

Re: Counting down to 25
Taiwo was one of the best Left Backs in Ligue 1, but turned out to be terrible. Traore is a big mystery. Urby is actually a good squad player and Nocerino has dipped so far out of form he is not worthy of the shirt anymore.

Agreed except for the Prince exit.
He's proven that he can rise to big occasions (Barca ) and although he had an overall bad second half of the season, his strength and drive was very useful early on and I believe it will be next season as well.
