Amauri: 'Im counting down the days till I leave'
Frozen out Juventus striker Amauri has admitted that he can’t wait until the January transfer window opens.
The Brazilian-born Italian international isn’t a part of the first team squad in Turin after rejecting a summer move away from the club.
Having not played since he returned from a loan spell at Parma last term, the centre-forward is desperate to get his career back on track.
“I’m counting the days until the window opens,” the former Palermo man, who is on €3.8m a season in salary, told Sky Sport Italia.
“I hope that the situation can be resolved as soon as possible. I have no other option but to leave Juventus in January.
“Where to? I’m reading a lot of things about myself in the newspapers, but I don’t know what is happening in reality.
“There are people who are working on a move for me and it’ll be their job to find me a new club.”
Amauri, 31, joined Juve in 2008. He’s been linked with a number of French clubs and Tottenham in England.
The South American will be available for a nominal fee as his contract in Turin will expire in June 2012.

There is nothing wrong with his words to be honest
He is simply stating the truth, his time with Juventus is done, it was done from when he went to Parma but now he just realizing it

Probably why Appelt is being promoted
Marrone, Motta, Toni are also sound choices

Marco Motta must up his game to be head chef. My bet is on Grosso. I hear he whips up a great flame grilled burger.

Simone Pepe hunts, he runs down gazelles until they tire from exhaustion and come willingly
Then Iaquinta cuts the meat, he would also marinate but he gets injured as the spices enter his eyes
Amauri then takes the prepared meat and marinates it and then fires up the grill
Bon apetit mon freres

Re: Amauri: 'Im counting down the days till I leave'
dont dump them guys right food is very important for a player to perform well and now i can understand why we was not good the last half of last season that Amauri was on loan at Parma.
this head Chef Amauri is the mastermind of any success we have until now so lets keep him in his position until summer.
