One of the shows that it seems everyone likes, except me, is The Walking Dead.

Don't get me wrong, first season was fantastic. i loved it. but after that it went way way wrong....

the show has the potential and material to be the most exciting tv show ever but it's fecking boring atm. 10 boring episodes then 1 half good.

i see it just to now where it's headed but every character sucks atm. I didn't like Shane that much but right now i miss him alot.

way to ruin a show that could be the best on television.

Mole, we talked about that in chat, what made the show average for me was the farm. They never left the damn farm, by the time they left the show picked up again, but it hurt the shows status as a great show.

TWD is great! Just great.

Some of you just don't appreciate character development and the drama of the show.

Yeah because everytime they're on their way to build a likeable character, he dies without any purpose tbh.
Show declined since Shane left

Even if the character development/location isn't the best, the suspense/action of TWD is enough to keep watching.

The character development is very good MT, and yes the action and suspense PLUS the great acting (Rick in particular) is more than enough imo.

Every now and then a death to a character which you wouldn't expect to die is good for a show. It's surprising.

And look at the character arcs of Carol and Carl. Amazing.

Survival horror shows just aren't for everyone, lads. It's not too hard to believe honestly.

I don't think the guys that don't like TWD are hipsters. Just have different preferences.

For me it's easily one of the best shows I have ever seen. Top 3 easily. But it's not everyone's cup of tea.

Sometimes people forget that we all have different tastes.... i joke with Gil but that's mainly because i know he won't get upset lol.

One man's trash is another man's treasure.

By the way can anyone tell me some good websites for streaming or downloading tv series? Netflix is good but some stuff i can't get hold of like i'd like to start watching Boardwalk Empire and Game of Thrones again.

Watched the first 3 episodes. Then suddenly it just stopped showing on tv. I later learned that season 1 only had like 3 episodes. And I just never caught up with it again.
Loved those 3 episodes though. Very Happy Benedict Cumberbatch

Some new TV Shows to look out for

Intelligence(CBS) - A drama centered on a high-tech intelligence operative who is enhanced with a super-computer microchip in his brain, and the director of the elite government cyber-security agency who supports him.

Airs on 7th Jan

Enlisted (FOX ) - Centers on Sgt. Pete Hill who, after a stint in Afghanistan, is stationed at a small military base in Florida to tackle the toughest job of them all leading his dysfunctional brothers' squad.

Helix(Syfy)- a team of scientists who travel to the Arctic to investigate a possible disease outbreak. However, there is much more going on than initially meets the eye, as the virus begins to evolve.

Black Sails(Starz) The new pirate adventure series from executive producer Michael Bay centers on the tales of Captain Flint and his men, twenty years prior to Robert Louis Stevenson’s classic Treasure Island. Described as “the most brilliant and most feared pirate captain of his day,” Flint takes on a fast-talking young addition to his crew who goes by the name John Silver. Together they fight for survival on New Providence Island, the most notorious criminal haven of its day – a debauched paradise teeming with pirates, prostitutes, thieves and fortune seekers, a place defined by both its enlightened ideals and its stunning brutality.

Resurrection(ABC) This new ABC series begins with the discovery of an 8-year old boy, who is escorted home by an immigration official (Omar Epps) to his small town in Missouri, only for it to turn out this child had died decades before. How he is alive and why he hasn't aged are the key questions... along with whether he's the only one among the town's deceased who might be back.

I love the chemistry of Cumberbatch and Freeman. I think the only episode of the mini-series that I thought wasn't up to par was the Hounds of Baskerville. Otherwise, the show has been of the highest quality.

it's not a mini series, each episode is 90 mins long so technically thats 3 30 mins episodes in one. and now there are 3 series each with 3 episodes and 90 mins each
