What if the police get caught in a bad situation during one of their patrols. How do you protect yourself. Hide until special units get there?
That's pretty weird. Has it always been like this? Because this is the first time I've ever heard of it.
Our police still uses horses btw lol

Do they carry pepper spray and rape whistles in case anything major happens?

The Shield or Prison Break
Unless you're still insisting on that ridiculous rule of the show having to be currently airing

Thinking of watching Sopranos/Wire/Shield, but they're not in good quality online.

Re: The TV Series Thread - Part 2
The Wire & The Shield are both amazing,. IMO, you'd like The Shield more than The Wire. More action.
and the thing is they aren't in good quality anywhere really, they weren't shot in HD and used some camera style that made it look gritty IIRC. Even the episodes that have aired on SKY don't look that crisp.

Re: The TV Series Thread - Part 2
Definitely watched it far too long after it ended, but I finally finished Legend of Korra season 2.
IMO Korra has so much more "lazy writing" than Avatar the last Airbender. I don't blame LoK writers, they have like half the episodes to do it in (the stories they try to tell in 13/14 episodes is incredibly difficult). However, it just means that it pales in comparison.
That being said, season 2 kicked season 1's ass. A slow start, but the second half of season 1 felt like ALA.
I don't watch a lot of cartoons or anime or anything, but both ALA and LoK have to be up there among the best.

Re: The TV Series Thread - Part 2
Yeah I enjoyed this season of Korra a lot. It's just that the standards are very high after the last book of The Last Airbender. Hopefully the next two seasons will match it.

Nope. Season 3 was the final season. Elba didn't have enough time to do this.
