Wow, i thought Begovic was supposed to be a good goalie lol.  To get beat from that angle, about 25 yards out, with an outswinging shot like that.
Crappy job by the wall as well to let 2 Chelsea players in and not put anyone behind them, which happens to be right where the ball gets over the wall.

Huge balls to even attempt at shot when you consider everything; but great great goal by Oscar especially considering it was the only goal of the game.

Nothing Begovic could have done to stop that goal. Nothing at all. Ridiculous free kick.

His 2nd year at the top level isn't really a success. I do like him a lot but he was bad against PSG imo.
I know mourinho wanted to make him the n10 of the team but i don't think it's possible for him to be. He is far from being a playmaker.

Thought ?

Has been absolutely garbage since turn of the year.

Absolutely does nothing. A bit like the Brazilian Tim Cahill.

Jason Puncheon has created so much more than Oscar in 2014, it's not even funny Proud

Oscar thrives in a system that doens't require him to be the n10 imo. what do you think ?

Very far from it. I usually don't think too much about it I didn't even do it there.

Oscar is like Nasri to me, n10 like but don't give them that responsability.

Wtf is this? Tim Cahill who main strength is his aerial ability and has been used more or less as a target man for Everton and inparticular for the socceroos, he couldn't be any further from Oscar. With all due respect sepi, pls go you pos

Hasn't been great in 2014, IMO it's because mou has overused him, physically he can't play so many games, another reason why we shouldn't have sold Mata. From a Chelsea perspective, it's a shame he's going to the WC, I'd love him to have a full off season of rest

I don't rate him, never rated him for 2 facts - 0 Consisntency which can atleast be improved from his 1 good game in 10 games.

But most of all little creativity as a No.10. His decision making, vision, passing, link-up play, goal threat, combination play has to improve. Hazard is shouldering a bulk of the creative burden of the team.

If this Chelsea Team actually had a creative No.10 and not Oscar or a hustler like William, Hazard will be even better and more of a goal-scorer . It will set Hazard free.

Give it a year before he's loaned out/sold. Too static, doesn't suit Mourinho's counter attacking plan in big games

That is the last thing that will happen,at least in the near future, specially if he has a goat WC.Oscar played about 70+ matches this season, he is a definite starter for Mourinho and Jose will not risk giving people a chance to say selling Mata was a bad move.

“I'm not playing because I felt a pain due to an injury to my hip,” he told Globo. “So in the last game against Liverpool I was not called on.”

“I warmed up [against Atletico], but Mourinho knew that I could hardly play.

“Maybe I will not play the next game because I could suffer a more serious injury to my hip and he knows it.”

“We're aiming me to try and play me in the final clash of the Premier League, but I have to take care for the World Cup.”

“We still have two very important games in the Premier League because Chelsea can still be champions, but it is important I rest because the World Cup is here.”

José Mourinho will demand improvement next season from his swath of attacking midfielders, principal among them the Brazil international Oscar, as the Portuguese seeks to eradicate some of the inconsistencies that have hampered Chelsea's challenge for prizes.

Oscar will miss the club's final home game of the season on Sunday, against struggling Norwich with a hip injury as Chelsea attempt to maintain their slim chances of securing the Premier League title. Mourinho has seen the form of his first-choice No10 tail off, Oscar scoring in only one league game since New Year's Day, though he expects the 22-year-old to revive for the World Cup.

"There are things you can't resolve," said Mourinho when asked if he was concerned the player was being distracted by the prospect of a major finals in his home country. "He was our best player for months, from August to December. He was absolutely fantastic. After that he's been up and down."

The Chelsea manager went on to suggest that Oscar's toils did not all stem from form and fitness on the pitch. "He was up and down, trying to arrive in a game but not managing it, or being a doubt when the game was too big for a doubtful player. So he arrived in the crucial moment of the season in a low. I can imagine, in a couple of weeks, he will be in a high and during the World Cup he will be in a high."

Mourinho, who expects the club to secure the Spain striker Diego Costa from Atlético Madrid for around £32m this summer, had complained after losing to Crystal Palace at the end of March that many of his younger players lacked the required mentality, but he is convinced he can still coax consistent form from the creative players at the club. "You can help them to build 'them'," he said, referring back to the word "balls" he had scribbled on a journalist's notepad to describe what his players were missing at Selhurst Park. "I'm not saying I'm going to succeed with every one of them.

"But, for example, I have Dr Paco Biosca, the doctor at Shakhtar Donetsk for many years with Willian, and he says he doesn't recognise Willian now: the professional, the player, the commitment. The only thing he recognises is the talent.

"You can't succeed with everybody. You try to help but it's up to them. Every one who is in an age of improvement needs to improve. You can't improve John Terry, Ashley Cole. If you keep them in the position where they are, it's fantastic. All of the others have to improve. Has André Schürrle had a good season? Not bad but next season must be better. Mohamed Salah, Oscar, Willian, Eden Hazard … all of them are in an age of improvement."

Mourinho confirmed that his goalkeeper Petr Cech will undergo surgery on his dislocated shoulder The Portuguese is understood to want Thibaut Courtois to return to the club in the summer after three seasons on loan with Atlético and to compete with Cech for the first-choice position at Stamford Bridge.

The manager awaits news on the one-year contracts offered to Frank Lampard, Terry and Cole. "I did my part on that," he said. "My part was to analyse the squad, analyse the players and advise the club in relation to what I think of the players. That's my job."

He's not wrong is he? It's actually somewhat similar to Neymar's dip in form at Barcelona as well.

Neymar's dip in form had nothing to do with the WC, it had to do with injuries and the fact that there was a donkey in the Barcelona bench who kept playing him on the right.

Oscar in the other hand, probably has his mind in the WC.I watched an interview he gave after the CL game and he said he was aiming to play the final games for chelsea in the PL but he had to take care of himself for the WC.It can't get any clearer than that. And I mean, since 2012 he played 150+ matches including NT without vacations between seasons which is insane

Thing is, if he does not score a goal, he offers nothing offensively.

He is not creative at all. To think hes rated 84 in the world cup fifa game too. Something is wrong at EA sports.
