Well, Arsenal are going to sign Higauin so I doubt they'll get Rooney after that, I have never been oppose to buying him, he'll bring goals and a good work rate Plus he's home grown.

That being said, I'd only get him after Cavani and Gomez.

Also, You guys hear that City are out of the race for Cavani? Madrid and also considering other options after his poor showing at Confed's cup. Means we're the front runners. cheers

Well, I think he's very likely to sign at this point. City are out, that leaves us, Madrid, PSG or Monaco. PSG have Ibra, Monaco have Falcao so both won't be wanting to spend 60m odd on another CF. Madrid have Benzema and Morata said he is staying so I doubt they'll want another top class CF when they've got Benzema, plus they're apparently put off by his Confed cup showing.

That leaves us, as long as we pay close to, if not, his buyout clause we'll get him. If reports are to be believed, we are willing to pay 60m euros plus bonus' and we're meeting his agent next week. I'd say he is more or less going to be ours.

That will depend on Madrid's next manager. Clearly it's going to be King Carlo and you can bet your house Perez is going to give him a mega-signing to replace Higuain. It looks like they're more after Suarez for that role but if Carlo decides he wants a bigger, more out-and-out striker instead, I can see them going full in for Cavani.

The thing about that is that Carlo won't sign for Madrid until the 3rd of July. He will likely decide on who he wants then, by that time, We could have already signed Cavani.
