I am a bit confused with the type of players we are linked to.

1) We are after 3-4 strikers(Cavani, Dzeko, Hulk, Shurrle - winger?) and no sure where that would leave Lukaku , Torres &Ba. As I haven't heard Clubs showing interest in the later two. Not sure what's on Mou's mind.

2) Then there is this ridiculous rumor about Mata(with Madrid & Barca interested). Is Mou thinking of swapping him for Modric?

One thing about ex-Madrid and Barca players, they usually like to back to their Parent Clubs. e.g. Fabregas, Pique. Other spanish club players e.g. Torres(Athletico) and Alonso( Basque) have no such affinity. Just to mind you - Mata is an ex-Madridtsa. If Madrid come calling, It can be tempting for him. May be, May be Jose is thinking of this factor, If at all he is thinking of selling Mata for good price.

The pricetag on Cavani is too high, no doubt about it. But if Roman's willing to put up €50m, surely 13 more won't be a deal-blocker? Not saying it's a paltry sum or anything, but relative to the figures we're dealing with here, it shouldn't be something that prevents a deal if the manager/owner/club want it.

Looks like he wants all 4 - Cavani, Hulk, Dzeko and Jovetic at Chelsea. Barring Hulk I am fine with other 3 players. I esp like Dzeko. Maccini was a fool not to use him well.
