Milan beat Juve to Poli?

Milan are close to securing Andrea Poli, beating Juventus in a sprint finish for the Sampdoria star.

The midfielder is currently on international duty and scored his first senior Italy goal in the 4-0 friendly win over San Marino.

He had been heavily linked with Juventus and confessed Andrea Pirlo was his “idol,” but the latest reports suggest the Rossoneri have won the transfer race.

The Corriere dello Sport claims Milan are very close to completing a deal for the 23-year-old midfielder, who spent six months on loan at Inter last season.

We clearly don't want him, judging by the lack of attempts to sign him.

Perhaps we wanted him more when we all thought Pogba was one for the future, and not also the present.

If I was Poli I wouldn't come to Juve knowing that I will stay on the bench on 23 yrs

I hope he does go to Milan...
