Melbourne Heart, even though they did just sign a trequartista in Fred.

New Arsenal plan:
Sell Fabregas for 50 million, buy Kaka for 30 million, spend the extra 20 million on Mata.
Fab= Kaka+Mata
Awesome deal

Yeah. And go from a 6+ million wage with Cesc to about 16+ million for Kaka & Mata. Trying to sell Wenger on this would be like selling peace to the Taliban.

Kaka takes 8-10 million per year, but thats because Madrid also own like 50% of his image rights or something like that. I don't think giving him 5-6 million per year would be a problem.
How much would Mata go for? 60k per week? Keeping in mind that we will have two player instead of one, I don't think Wenger will have a problem with it.
Not that this is actually going to happen anyway haha

Madrid takes 50% of the image rights because, on average, image revenue is multiplied for a player when they join Madrid. Madrid wants to get compensated for the massive additional marketing and revenue it generates for a player... and players obviously go for it because the 50% with Madrid is much more than the 100% they got previously. So it has nothing to do with that.
the 10 million salary is a hard number.

Re: Which club(s) could use Kaka now?
There are a few clubs I think Kaka would be suited to.
AC Milan would be an obvious choice only because he'd fit into the team having already played with most, already accustomed to the Italian culture.
Man United would be a suitor had Kaka been younger. United are in dire need of a creative midfielder as seen with last season's Champions League Final and the retirement of Scholes.
Arsenal would be a good bet because of the potential loss of Fabregas to Barcelona and the need for a player that stands upto the bill.
However these clubs in mind, I honestly believe he'd be perfectly suited for Chelsea. Last season Chelsea lacked squad depth and experience in my opinion. They got rid of Deco and more importantly Ballack and it showed quite clearly.
Kaka would thus fill the roll perfectly.

We didn't lack experience last season. When you say that I assume you're saying that the youngsters were not up to the challenge and that's why we lacked experience. But experience is nothing and the fact is that they were not ever played last season so you can't judge them. And yes we need depth, but in the form of an average player like Kaka? Nope, we need someone young that has potential to be great like Pastore.

Experience is everything I'm afraid. When Chelsea won the league the season before last, what was different about their squad? Last season they got rid of Ballack, Carvalho and Joe Cole. In my opinion big losses for Chelsea. Who did they replace them with. Yossi Benayoun? Ramires? David Luiz only came during the January transfer window.
I agree that Chelsea urgently need a surge of good youth players with bags of potential, however calling Kaka an average player somewhat lacks "experience" and is rather disrespectful. He may not be the player he used to be, but he still is a great player.

Anelka, Malouda, Drogba, Terry, Lampard, Cech, Cole, Essien, Benayoun, Alex...is this not enough experience?? What did they get us last season? Nothing, because the fact is too much experience means too many players on the wrong side of 30 and therefore they cannot perform as well as they can. How would keeping Ballack and Carvalho have helped us? As much as Malouda and Anelka last season I suppose. And please don't mention Joe Cole, he's crap. What will he have done? They too were more or less finished like Malouda and Anelka and they would have been ineffective, they can't keep going. It's more important to have fresh blood used in the squad and that was not the case with Sturridge and Mceachran last season, I'm sure you would agree that they would have done more than the "experienced" lot if they had been used. That's the reason why everyone is saying we need a major over-haul (which I don't exactly agree to) because we have way too many "experienced" players but not enough bright players.
Lets face it, Kaka is past it. We do not need to add more old players to this already old squad because that would be like keeping Ballack and Deco and expecting them to lead us. Doesn't work that way. We need to play people like Sturridge, Mceachran, Pastore etc if we want to win something again, we have enough experience and now it's time for the future.
