We wont sign any better, you want Sanago as Giroud back up? Who can a poor club like us afford, after all we are only Forbes: 4th most valuable club in the world. Brand Finance: Arsenal are the 6th most valuable brand in the world.

Huh ! Dude u trying to speak sense? I am more or less heard ppl like you million times. What you guys lack is practical knowledge. You must understand Mr logical no club would spend millions without any digging. As a matter of fact every top club identifies its target months before the window opens. If you seriously think waiting will do any good is shit mentality because the only good players left at the end r the ones who no one really considered good enough at the start.
Falcao gone
Neymar gone
Navas gone

Wake up and come out from behind your comp and meet some professional working day night
Clearly I'm being trolled a little here, so , but I just wanted to clarify for other readers (esp. if English is not their first language) that I never advocated that Arsenal should wait on transfer plans. (Nor do I think the people at the club actually are just sitting around twiddling their thumbs.) My point about waiting was referring to fans getting really hot-headed and impatient when it's still just early June, because the blunt truth is that we don't get to see what goes on behind the scenes. (Unless we do. Is RealGunner actually Pat Rice? Is Raptor in fact the online identity of Andrei Arshavin? )
I have no idea what "professional working day night" is intended to mean though. I am older than the majority of people on this forum, I'm pretty certain, and probably don't need to be told something like this.
lol you are saying we should wait. look at the magnitude of deals that are going on at the moment. the quality in those deals. we have got to compete with the like of such clubs unless you want to settle for just a hard luck top4 finish?
I said professional because my uncle is agent for some top players and he told me somethings about wenger and his dealings.
i tell you right now. its not as it seems. wenger is the most cunning person ever. even fergie sometimes fall prey to him.
I'll say one last time, then I'll stop letting myself be trolled. I didn't advocate that Arsenal should wait around the on the transfer market. I'm saying that fans would do themselves a service to withhold judgment or anxiety about transfers a little longer (i.e. to just act like rational human beings), because we simply don't know. Not all of us have top agent uncles, but as you clearly demonstrate, even having one of these at our disposal does not help us achieve that composure.
If you can't tell the difference between these two kinds of "waiting," I suspect it is either because English is not your first language and you could use a little practice if you want to debate in English, or because you might be very young. That's cool, but anyway you may want to read a little more thoroughly. Also it's strange that you use the word "logical" like it's an epithet ...

Its not about money, the guy just doesn't suit the way we play. We will sign him and he will flop.

i have no problem with anyone one of you guys. i understand what you guys mean we should wait till then end before passing judgement. You guys are also not trying to listen what i am saying. i think sprtczy summed it pretty well.
Time is running out and big players are in the market at the moment. if arsenal really need to step up now its the time. this is all i am saying. on a side note, you must have heard of the rule "no club with approach another club player" that is not followed in reality. players, agents and club are talking all the time is just private.

I think Wayne Rooney is the best option, price is right and who cares about paying him 200k, we are a money making club, will get it all back.

He can't do Giroud's job, can he play alone upfront ?? No, Can he hold the ball up ?? No. Higuain needs someone to play alongside him or closer to him to get the best out of him. We don't play like this here, the midfielders are usually too involve in the build up to support the striker. He is a good player but he doesn't offer much outside the box and for the price being mentioned, I don't think we should go for him. We should only go for Jovetic if we can't afford him then settle for Villa.

Re: The Official Summer Transfer Rumours Thread
Higuain is not shit and he's much better than Giroud at the one thing that CFs need to do... efficiently score. If Giroud becomes more clinical, then he's better than Higuain because he brings a lot more to the table... but so far, he's not.
Higuain will get you 25-30 goals a season without a problem as long as he's healthy and gets proper service.

Bendtner off the scale in confidence test
Arsenal striker Nicklas Bendtner has scored highly in 'self-perceived competence' after the Gunners' sport psychologist Jacques Crevoisier revealed that the Dane's mark was off the scale.
Bendtner has made several comments in the media over the years highlighting his belief in himself and many have suggested that his confidence borders on arrogance. However, Arsenal use psychological tests to determine their players' mental abilities in relation to their footballing qualities and the striker is certainly not lacking in one area.
"One of the categories is called 'self perceived competence,' i.e. how good the player himself thinks he is,'' Crevoisier told Swedish magazine Offside. ''On a scale up to 9, Bendtner got 10! We have never seen that before. Pat Rice [Arsenal's assistant manager] was sitting next to me and couldn't stop laughing.
"When Bendtner misses a chance, he is always genuinely convinced that it wasn't his fault. You might say that's a problem, and to a certain degree it can be. But you can also view it as this guy has a remarkable ability to come back after set-backs."
The test is made-up of 117 questions designed to test players' self-belief, concentration levels and determination and is overseen by Crevoisier, who specialises in working with young French players at France's Clairefontaine academy as well as the Gunners' stars.

I would ask on what you base this opinion, but that's irrelevant. We'll know in a few weeks whether or not you're right that all will be sold by then. But even if they are, how do you know that Arsenal won't be one of the buying teams? How do you know that Arsenal isn't in negotiations as we speak? You're just making an assumption based on the typical freaking out of fandom -- nothing has been announced, so nothing is happening. Do you really think all Arsenal has to do is make a phone call to complete a major transfer? That seems to be what those of you who are in panic mode expect. Calm down and let's wait and see what happens. As I noted, history tells us that the vast majority of big transfers happen in July or August. I see no reason to believe that's going to change.

They didn't need to do psychological tests. I could have told them that. I've said for quite awhile that if Arsenal could sell him for what he thinks he's worth they could use the money to make an offer for Messi that even he and Barcelona couldn't refuse and still have enough left over to surround him with world class players. In Bendtner's mind, he's worth at least a billion.
