If so it's probably due to Watch Dogs being pushed back..they don't want to release big games around the same time from the same studio. Will impact sales. That's why I believe it's true. Still some good games this year though.

Watch Dogs is coming in Q2 according to various sources. They could release The Division around christmas for dem sales lol

its varied, demons souls has stages and a central hub whereas dark souls is open world

it's like a dark medieval fantasy setting...literally everything you can imagine. really diverse locations, dark forests, lakes, poisonous swamps, huge castles, catacombs. there isn't even a traditional dungeon tbh. closest thing to that would be a trap filled fortress you have to go through. I'd say out of about 20 unique locations there are two that could be classed as a dungeon type areas.

if you do get them, start with dark souls..demons souls isn't connected at all story wise and dark souls improved on it almost every way..if you end up liking dark souls you can always go back to demons souls and enjoy that for what it is. Thumbs up

I'll be honest I always liked the idea of RPG's but there are very few I ever actually managed to finish, mainly because aint nobody got time for deep combat and scrolling through a million menu's before a fight. I think Souls has the GOAT combat in an RPG, it feels so good..it's easy to grasp and hard to master. The story is amazing and REALLY deep - but not on the surface.

You only have to look online..there are thousands of videos where nerds are talking about "lore" stuff and theorising on characters roles etc, not much is explained for you..you have to go looking for the story, read item descriptions/finding hidden characters. listening to the cryptic stuff the few sane left in the game's world tell you. Some people can go through the entire game and not know anything about the story..but it's all there if you're willing to put the effort in to look for it.

that's how much I rate this series.

That's basically the opposite to how i understood it lol.

It was the main reason i put it off all this time.... i'll probably get it then lol.

Then i'll get Dark Souls 2 in about a years time :bow:

Dark Souls 2 will be released only on current gen. Another reason not to buy next gen any time soon. BTW Mole, have you finished MGS 4, God Of War III, inFamous and inFamous 2 :coffee:

lol, no it won't. there's a huge demand for DS2 on PS4/X1. The same way GTA 5 wasn't announced outright for next gen before it came out..they don't want it to affect sales, they'll milk it for everything it's worth. Expect an announcement a month after release. It's free money. They're already aiming to release it for PC the same month, they'll just port that version for PS4/X1.

I doubt GTA 5 will come on next gen. It will probably come to Playstation Now. There's a good chance of Dark Souls 2 but they could have released current gen and next gen together like Assassins's Creed IV, Watch Dogs, Thief, Titanfall etc. Why release next gen version later?
