The Last of Us

Started it on Monday, finished it today.

One of the greatest games I have ever played. The story is extremely well-written and it's really not your typical 'zombie' game.

When it first came out, I didn't want to touch it because I thought it was just that - a typical, boring zombie game. But boy was I wrong!

Can't wait to play Part 2.

Mixed feelings on the casting for Joel's pick doesn't look anywhere near like him but does act fairly close to him based on the trailer. Pedro Pascal is on fire by this point of his career and he is a stellar actor who is a leading man in a dying breed so confident he will pull it off.

Bella Ramsey based on GOT alone is a very talented actress but she looks so far off Ellie its hard to see it stick for me and people must understand why casting here strikes close to the mind.

Last of Us in terms of these two we forget was a series of pixels together and not even actors but voices behind the graphical content. So real it was and the closest thing to emotion in video game that I've experienced, that its hard to imagine another portrayal.

That being said she has not uttered a line yet and the trailer itself was perfect. Of course Hank Williams is chosen as the song and every thing from clickers to that broken building tells me how much Neil Druckmann is involved in the series.

The maker of Chernobyl helming it also tells me its bound to be good as HBO series are always the best, stark contrast to Amazon or Netflix.


I cannot see it fail and it would make me very happy to see it succeed.

This is 100% true. The latter's only talent seems to be screaming as loud as possible when some Demon is in a season finale and not much else.

Seen nothing else of Ramsay but her moxy in GOT was good enough alone.
