Well at least Porto aren't just letting them go on the cheap. And they do have a knack for churning out ready made replacements anyway as well as a keen eye for buying them.

Alright lads, while posting the same rumour 2 or 3 times is completely understandable and fine, let's try to avoid reposting it 4 or 5 or even more times.

Also, regarding MLS:
New York Red Bulls are interested in Robbie Rogers' rights as well as Newcastle's Jonas Gutierrez, while Chicago have reportedly attempted to make contact with Totti's representatives to judge his potential interest in joining when and if he leaves Roma according to journalists close to the League.

Totti is still a fantastic player. If I was him I would be staying with Roma for the time being.

James I think Port will do without, but Moutinho is going to be much more difficult I feel.
After losing Lucho it took a while to replace him with Joao and they really struggled in that area.

El Tata Martino the most wanted man in Spain
Malaga, Sociedad and Bilbao are all trying to make him their new coach, but el tata wouldn't leave Newell's until they finished their run in the cup.

Re: Summer Transfer Rumours Mk.II
going for another striker when you Lukaku at the club is plain delusional, the guy scored 17 goals this season in PL for a midtable club and is just 20 years old.. what more do you want? talk about wasting a player's career

Porto's whole model is based on buy low, sell high. A deal like this should be looked at by their fans like a huge success, imo. They'd go bankrupt if they didn't get profit from player sales - and it's working, too, just won the league.

Are they in debt though?
They've made atleast 300m+ Euros profit since 2002, surely.

Still don't think he's ready, mentally to be honest. He will be class in the future no doubt, but he'll be expected to be the next Drogba by the fans at SB and would be demanded to score regularly. Gala could be good for him. He'll have Drogba and Sneijder next to him and will be playing CL footy.

According to the Swiss Ramble's article from December 2010 they've had some €80m-90m debt in 2010 and every year their expenses are some 20m-40m greater than their turnover, so they really need those monies from player sales.
Also, an interesting piece from the article regarding this 70m sale of Moutinho and Rodriguez:
In the same way that Porto often buy a percentage of a player’s rights, they sometimes also sell part of a player in order to raise cash. There was an example of such a trade only last month, when the club sold percentage of three recent arrivals for a total of €8 million (37.5% of Joao Moutinho, 35% of James Rodriguez and 25% of Walter).
So if they haven't bought back those rights since, Porto will receive "only" some 65% of that 70m (which amounts to 45.5m).

Robinho's first touch in Spanish football was a Sombrero as well, and he came with the reputation as a Step Over King, so forgive me for not getting all excited about, essentially, the spanish Ozil.

dimaria is wanted by everyone....there is a difference there
but unless they have gotten a replacement for him I don't think he will leave. I hope they are not thinking that Isco will be his replacement
