dimaria is wanted by everyone....there is a difference there

but unless they have gotten a replacement for him I don't think he will leave. I hope they are not thinking that Isco will be his replacement Proud

That's not it... nobody is willing to accept the current valuation of Madrid for Di Maria. We want 30 mil lol. Best offer has been 20 according to reports. But i'm sure someone will jump in after all the better players have moved and take him.

Carlo played a 4222 or 4411. You have a left AM and a right AM that play behind the two strikers. Isco goes left and Ozil goes right. That's how he used the mids at PSG. Di Maria would have to be one of the two strikers in Carlo's scheme, and that's not going to happen. That's the only way Lavezzi fit in at PSG.

I remember when Pellegrini tried to play that 4-2-2-2 formation with us Sad

I don't think that formation can work unless we get a DM. As of now we are obsessing about Isco who in all honesty we don't actually need

Isco is a must sign imo. Every top level spanish player should be a top target for Madrid. He fits perfectly in the Carlo scheme too.

Monaco are after Lisandro Lopez apparently scratch maybe in a 4-4-2 formation I guess or as a back up

United are interested in Benzema. can see him replacing Rooney if he leaves for PSG

if Isco comes it spells the end of Jese and I value Jese higher than isco I also think he has a higher ceiling than the 21 year old

The transfer price for Moutinho and James Rodriguez is actually 55-60 mil according to RMC Sport.

How can you say that when a) Isco is proven and is considered the best AM under the age of 22 in the world with Goetze and b) Jese has yet to play a single game in any top competition. Love Jese... but come on.

just because isco has had the luxury of actually playing for a LaLiga team does not mean he is better. if we sell Jese to Leverkusen just watch him tear the league a part to a level Isco hasn't even witnessed on Fifa. As I said before I regard Jese as more talented than Isco and much more versatile to let go of

That's your opinion HM2 and i respect that... to me, Jese is completely unproven and Isco is already a superstar. Besides, Jese is being lent out anyhow. We'll see how he does. If he does well, then by all means... but not before.

thats my point Isco is 21 and if Jese does well next season we will be back at square one with another potential Benz/Higgy case unless Ronaldo does us all a favour and moves to CF. I just don't want to see that scenario

Isco didn't get playing time at Valencia so he went to Malaga only then was his name picked up. Jese was one of the stars of spain u19 I don't even know what Isco was up to at that age.

I see Olivier Torres as a better talent than Thiago despite the kid not playing much for Atleti. Just because Thiago has done well for himself at Barca does that mean he is better?? gimme a break will ya

More talented doesn't mean anything atm. Madrid are looking for established players who are the best in their position. No manager is going to give Jese a starting spot. Isco is already one of the worlds best. There will be no risk in signing him as he is already very familiar with La Liga and had a good CL campaign as well.
I love Jese too, but they are not even close atm.

It's the total opposite of wasting his career, he's still very very raw. Needs to develop with optimum minutes under less pressure.

Still don't think he's ready, mentally to be honest. He will be class in the future no doubt, but he'll be expected to be the next Drogba by the fans at SB and would be demanded to score regularly. Gala could be good for him. He'll have Drogba and Sneijder next to him and will be playing CL footy.

Mentally and technically, would prefer him to stay in England though.

Other than Rooney, who is the last striker that was developed as a youth in EPL worth mentioning? Was it Michael Owen?

The reason i ask is that i can't imagine a player wanting to say in EPL to improve on his technique or tactical awareness Laughing

OT: How does a 4-2-2-2 suit Real?
Pelle used it in the first 10-15 games at Real, and it really fell apart after Ronaldos injury, following which we changed to the 4-2-3-1 like the one we play these days.
I dont think CR will be comfortable playing a LF in this formation. It will mean lesser time on the ball for him and Lesser space to run at.

Thiago needs to join the Atleti revolution. Decent chance to start in the 2014 WC if he succeeds there.
