He can defend. He is not a iniesta who can not be played in double pivot. He is to me even better defender than Xavi and Xavi has played in a double pivot.

lol we won't be bringing in 3 CBs, if we do that'd be suicide.. 1 CB is optimum, 2 is alright, 3 is overkill and doesn't happen often

With all the rumors linking us to so many CBs, I don't think it's much of a stretch tbh. Papa, Toure, Ilori would be my guess.

Doubt it Schalke will accept such an offer knowing that he has a release clause (20mio).

Although I think it's a fair price.
