No one on this plant believes that bendtner was the striker that juventus was looking for. Not does anyone believe that this was the intent of that transfer. If anything, Giovinco was that player. Bendtner was brought on loan and for depth. He made zero impact but came at near zero risk. Can hardly call him a bad transfer, rather an empty and useless one.

Bendtner can't be the worst signing.

We basically told him he was an emergency deal which we didn't really want.

What can you expect from an emergency back-up loan?

Now if we told him he would be fighting for a starting spot then yeah by all means he failed.

He was only here to make up numbers.

Didn't Rocchi come to Inter to be your only striker after Milito was injured?

That's much further up the pecking order than an emergency reserve. Rocchi was emergency yes, but he was an emergency filler for Milito.

And for the record I don't think Rocchi was the worst signing anyway.

A stupid signing by all means, but not the worst.

So if Rocchi and Bendtner weren't the worse signings, who does that leave us with? Laughing

I replied in fair detail Mc but I accidentally backspaced off of the page

I won't go over it all again but I think the likes of Acerbi and Schelotto were worse.

If you take this season seperately then Isla is up there. He had his reasons but we did pay 18M for a player who couldn't surpass Padoin this year.

no no, Milito was injured AFTER the transfer window was closed, Rocchi was signed as a just in case player and even when Milito was injured we tried to sign some free agents. Rocchi's signing is still stupid taking into consideration how short sighted our management is, but as an independent case the signing wasnt all that bad.

As far as Inter players are concerned Silvestre takes the cake. Schelleto comes as a close second especially that we gave Lijava away when we had no depth in that position.
