La Liga Round 36 Empty La Liga Round 36

Post by Donuts Sun May 19, 2013 10:11 pm

Why in the hell are our starters still playing?
todays lineup: vs Valladolid

----------------Valdes
Montoya----Pique----Mascherano----Alba
-----------------Buscuit
---------Xavi-------------Iniesta
----Pedro--------Cesc----------Villa

I'm sure if Dani Alves and Messi were not injured they'd start too like really wtf is going on? Why does Tito want to even play them and risk even more injury to the team, matches like these Thiago should be start not be subbed in on minute 64, same with Song, Tello, Deulofeu, Bartra and maybe the youth keeper just to test him.

Do you guys think Tito only wants the 100 pts or that he doesn't trust the youth? Mind you the match was 2-0 before half time and subs were made in minute 64, 76 and 83.

I don't understand why Bartra and Thiago didn't start to be honest. At least our star Alexis was subbed by our ultrascrub Shitdro.

I was disappointed. No Tello, Song, or Batra? He doesn't want to call up Roberto and Deulofeu. Thaigo should've started and Xavi/Iniesta should've rested this game. We could've let Olazábal, or Masip play in net. It seems Tito doesn't have as much as belief in the academy as Pep did.

Roura: "We did as always, put the best team possible in the field".

The lack of rotation and faith in our subs, that in some cases are better than the starters (Tello, Bartra and Thiago) is disturbing.

Don't think it has anything to do with belief. If he played them now it wouldn't prove he has belief so....

They are shamelessly going for 100 points the same way we have Messi chase goal tallys.

This is why we steam roll La Liga. Every game we have to start our best line were as most other clubs play their bench etc from time to time. Barca/RM can't do that.

I'm sure he likes to get the goal tallies, but he plays for the shirt at the end. Messi is the only one who converts, I lost count of how much times Snachez/Pedro have missed the mark from open net plays. Tito/Roura this season have just relied on our starting 11 and haven't step off the gas. They kept Villa out for a long time, Tello who's been improving hasn't been given enough chances.

Records are stupid, and more so when we won't have the record as at most we will tie Madrid and they did it first, so quite stupid.

Only that we've rotated heavily under every season except this one

He was clearly the MOTM taking on players (4 driblings), creating, scoring and hitting the post.
Although he made a Malexis missing an open goal.... Razz

However, performing well vs. scrub teams when the league is over doesn't redeem him, as well as Alexis performances in the last 3 weeks haven't redeemed him in my eyes. Time to show up was vs. Milan, vs. Madrid, vs. PSG and vs. Bayern. (at least Pedro showed up somewhat vs. PSG and Bayern but not enough).
