Post by RealGunner Thu May 16, 2013 11:53 pm

SILVIO BERLUSCONI: Massimiliano Allegri will be the new coach of Roma after Milan vs. Siena

from Matteo Bonetti. Not sure how legit but Interesting if it's true.

Yeah Montella's going nowhere. Fiorentina are going to lock him down if they haven't already.

As for Allegri....foolish move from Milan. Mazzarri is considered more likely to join us than he is at this point.

Its an off the record statement apparently from a GdS journalist:

Im going to post what i typed in the Milan section

El Shaarawy wrote:Personally i'd much rather stick with Allegri for a year, then bring in Prandelli if possible. He has got a lot of experience, especially in Europe. Montella is still raw imo, we'll have to see how he fares with Fio next season . Although i personally love what he has done this year

Vincenzo Montella promised to “learn the Siena club anthem off by heart if they stop Milan” on Sunday in the race for third place.

“I believed when we were six points behind, so now we believe more than ever. We are very relaxed going into the last round,” declared Coach Montella as he was given the Briglia d’Oro award.

The Viola are two points behind the Rossoneri in the fight for a Champions League spot and it will be decided on Sunday night.

Fiorentina visit Siena, while Milan play in Pescara. A victory will secure Milan’s qualification, but if the two teams finish level on points then the Tuscans will go through thanks to a superior head-to-head record.

“Third place is not my last thought at night, nor is the transfer market. From Monday I will start thinking about a summer vacation.

“What would I do to get third? I’d learn the Siena club anthem off by heart if they managed to stop Milan! We have to focus on winning at Pescara, then we’ll see what the Rossoneri do in Siena.

“As for my future, there will be no surprises. I will certainly be the Viola Coach next season.”

There are certain things you have to say while you're under contract. Pirlo's situation is a prime example. He was under contract at Milan, but wanted Madrid incredibly bad. Then Pirlo has to tell the media "I only think of Milan" when in reality he wanted his first ticket out of there.
