If Chelsea draw 0-0 with Everton & Arsenal beat Newcastle 2-1, both teams will be on 73 points, +35 GD, same GS & GC. No head to head rule.

This is from the Premier League handbook:

If at the end of the Season either the League Champions or the Clubs to be relegated or the question of qualification for other competitions cannot be determined because 2 or more Clubs are equal on points, goal difference and goals scored, the Clubs concerned shall play off one or more deciding League Matches on neutral grounds, the format, timing and venue of which shall be determined by the Board.

So if Chelsea draw 0-0 and Arsenal win 2-1, they may be a playoff between Arsenal and Chelsea to determine who gets to finish third and go straight into the group stages and who finishes fourth and has to go through a qualifier.

Imagine a game like that at White Hart Lane. Laughing

The Premier League have confirmed that if Arsenal & Chelsea end on same points/stats, a play-off will decide 3rd
