May as well make a thread for this lad. All signs point to him arriving this summer, with yesterday's story in the Sun being the latest to report it.

Markovic is a versatile forward who's yet to be rooted to a particular position, as you'd expect for a player his age, and is described as having phenomenal pace, a good touch, and a penchant for knocking the ball into space and using his pace to get past defenders. He made his debut internationally for the Serbia U17s in the qualification round of the 2010 UEFA European Championship, and played for them in the 2011 UEFA European Championship which was hosted by Serbia itself. He made his full international debut for the Serbian National side at the age of 17, and also, having skipped the U19 level altogether, is involved with the U21 set-up.

He visited Cobham and Stamford Bridge over the winter - confirmed by the player himself to Belgrade-based football newspaper Sportski Zurnal, reported by Sky Sports back in February - and is said to have spoken about Chelsea with compatriot Branislav Ivanovic on his visit.

With the growing number of exciting youth players both foreign and English at the club and the seemingly increasing intention on starting to bring them through in the coming years, Lazar's addition will be well-welcomed. He'll almost certainly be put into the reserves or placed out on loan, and I did hear some very interesting rumours a few months back that he was spotted at Vicarage Road watching a game during the time he was visiting England...

doesnt it seem odd that this is saying mou is concentrating on Lewandowski when hes still Madrid Manager?

I'd assume he means for Chelsea, as we heard rumoured a few weeks back.
