Re: Official: Higuain joins Napoli
Gonzalo Higuain’s protracted transfer from Real Madrid to Juventus has a 70 percent chance of success, according to FIFA agent Ernesto Bronzetti.
The Bianconeri have been negotiating with the Spanish side for a few weeks, and it looks as if a deal could be close to completion.
“There is a 50, 60 or even 70 per cent chance of him joining Juventus,” Bronzetti told Sky Sport Italia.
“I am certain he will leave because he has expressly asked.
“Madrid will certainly go on to replace him, for his age and technical value.
“[Director general Beppe] Marotta, [sporting director Fabio] Paratici and [coach Antonio] Conte came to Madrid, we have talked, they are talking about it, we shall see.”
It is thought Juventus are looking to pay no more than €25 million, though, Real are hoping for a minimum fee of €30m. Meanwhile the player is thought to have agreed terms with the Italian side.

Re: Official: Higuain joins Napoli
Would be a great signing for Juventus. I just don't understand why they signed Llorente.
Anyway, I'm happy that Pipita is (hopefully) going to play a lot of matches before the World Cup.

Like I've said before, not only could Marotta not possibly know who was going to be available a year after signing Llorente (For all any of us could know, Higgy could be loving life in Madrid, Jovetic and Fio could have been in the CL and nobody worth buying would want to move.) He also signed a very highly rated striker for FREE. The same player who could have fetched over 20Million had Bilbao not taken such an offense to his request to move elsewhere.
It's a great bit of business, a free striker who is an upgrade on what we already have.
People think it's bad business, I think with those reasones mentioned above that it's a great move.

Re: Official: Higuain joins Napoli
Leave, Higuain is not appreciated by Madrid and frankly he's gone as far as he can in Madrid. He is humble, hard working, and relentless. Simply not the profile Madrid or their fans look for in a 9: that of a shirt seller that makes the news because of his off-pitch activities as much as his on-pitch ones.Arquitescu wrote:Alfi, I want your thoughts on whether you would want to see Higuain in Juventus or staying in Real Madrid? If leave or stay, kindly provide the reasons onto your desire's and your decision you would possibly make if acting for or AS Higuian himself.
Higuain will be a success in Italy. There people will be able to appreciate him as an efficient finisher. His competition will be Llorente, but Llorente will also be an ideal partner forhim, and I have no doubt he would get many more starts at Juve. He would still have a champion team and hopefully some of that strong mentality amongst his teammates will make him stronger as well. Hopefully he opts for Juve and not Tottenham, as I would hate him to have to deal with the English calendar before the WC.

Thanks very much for the response Alfi.
What I've noticed about Higgy is that he needs to be under consistent bouts of pressure and tight spaces in order to perform. I recollect all his daft misses of sitters and open chances as it involved him in open spaces where all the options between the goal-sticks and the GK tend to confuse him. Excelling in tight spaces does not equal to superiority as Cristiano is one who cannot handle tight spaces yet thrives in optimizing on the best possible decision when presented with options and time, something Gonzalo struggles against.
Argentina; for quite a while teams have gone deep v the Argentines in the International stage in to protect their back-line from Messi etc as it results in retracted defence from the opposition to Argentina. As we know, Higuain is absolutely world class when playing for his country as the constant face-offs of deep lines and the tight spaces within them unlocks a very composed finisher with two-footed striking ability anywhere within the net.
I've seen matches where Higuain is missing the silliest of chances when presented options yet pops out of nowhere within his exploitation of striking channels and comes up with one of the most intelligent goals, propelled by his excellent ability to strike the ball.
In Italia, spaces are tighter and not afforded. Defences close you down better and spend a week studying the opposition. A striker with his such intelligence will thrive under the circumstances and be prolific. Ramos and Pellegrini played more "build-up systems" compared to Jose where Higuiain within the build-up often positioned himself congruent to the play and resulted in deft finishes produced. Under Conte, if the manager is smart enough he will utilize that ability. Llorente? Best if he is played directly behind Higgy in a Vucinic role to create space and draw out defenders in his usual role as it can work given one is better with constant touches while the other exploiting them like Torres did in Liverpool.
Although Higgy's dribbling is underrated. His dribbles v Sociedad defence just Sunday were an example.

Man City or PSG.
But im inclining towards City cos of Pellegrini going there.
Also i dunno if you are being humble BC but why would he choose Spurs of all teams lol.I dont believe he'll even pick Arsenal let alone Spurs.

BC are you surprised. MAdrid as an institution are a joke. MAdrid with the amounnt of money they have and the players and coaches they can attract should be competeing for a Sextuple every damn season but due ti the structural problems any long term sustained sucxcess is not feasible. Farcical.

It's not that Higuain isn't a shirt seller etc, it's just he misses chances in big games. The club knows he's a good finisher, however it's the big games.
We need a clinical finisher in the big games.

Well, you pay 30+ mill for trash and the trash is a HUGE letdown, so instead calling out the trash, or forcing the trash to actually IMPROVE, you look for ways to negate the blame the trash should receive.
Enter Higuain.
Higgy has been a victim of this. The trash plays poorly, it's everybody else's fault but the trash. The trash doesn't produce, it's everybody else's fault. A fat overgrown piece of trash that needs coddling.
I wish Higgy the best wherever he goes. If it was up to me, I would keep him.
Enter Higuain.

Izzy maybe its my utter lack of wit when it comes to comprehending writing yet could you expand upon this post of yours to find simpletons such as I? I'm having trouble differentiating your view on Higgy and Benz here.
Thanks

No problem.
My disgust for Benzema grows everyday his fat ass is still part of this club. He is given chance, after chance and STILL shows no sign of improvement or development. He has the audacity to put on weight, AGAIN show no zero effort or work rate to earn a starting spot on the team. Its given to him because he's Flo and Zizou's man.
He was sent to Italy to lose weight and spend time in a high-end training complex. Why?
He DEMANDS the starting spot and doesn't even prove he deserves it, then whines about leaving when he loses it? Why?
We paid 30+mill for all this talent his fat ass apparently has and he's been here for 3 seasons (4 years) and has not been good enough. EVERY SINGLE TIME he doesn't produce, it's NEVER his fault and i'm tired of it.
This is why I LOVE HIGGY. Instead of bitching and whining about losing his spot as a starter and even dropping to 3rd pick (when Raul was here) he worked his ass off, put in the time on and off the field and gave his all every game he started and we've been spoiled to have a player that cared so much about performing his best for the club but it's not good enough because he's showing up fat ass so he has to go.
I'm going to be on Benzema's ass all of next season. Every performance I am going to critique to the highest standard. He's got what he wanted AGAIN and it's damn shame as well.
My anger towards this guy grows, he's almost reached the same level of disgust I have for Coentrao after those ridiculous quotes he gave.

Its a refreshing perspective on the Higuain-Benzema debacle though recently Benzema supporters such as Nick and Sports have even grown tired of his work ethic and attitude. Their support only comes currently now from hope that he will unleash a semblance of propensity to use that talent of his since he is arguably Real Madrid's most talented attacker. Unfortunately his persona has presented such inertia to unveil that sublime talent of his.
Which is why I appreciate Higuain more for personifying Real Madrid through his characteristics and work ethic. I sincerely believe once Higuain's injury troubles are behind him and when receiving a consistent platform of chances, he can replicate the form which had him loved and revered by the Madrilenos in the first place.
Mourinho's departure can catalyse this reaction as maybe even from Benzema himself

Benzema, like Rooney is a fat waste of space. Both have talent, but spend most of their time getting two for one tuesdays @ pizza hut rather than spending time on the training ground.

Re: Official: Higuain joins Napoli
on another note higuain should stay. sick of tired of this untalented bs, because he is more then talented. But fatzema continues to get the nod. and that ruins his confidence..
His flops have come in big moments.
big moments are all mental strength. Higuain has loads of it, but it isn't enough, because fatzema, no matter how good higgy plays, is always breathing down his neck
if benz would work harder this wouldnt be an issue.

On the 19988989th higgy vs benz debate, just want to mention that it was intended for both players to play together, as following the tradition we have had of playing with a CF and a ST. Benzema and Higuain were supposed to replace Raul and RVN. oh well
oh and higuain is a glorified choker, benzema even in all his fatness has outplayed him in the past two seasons.
