Fantasy Ibra updates here.....
Reports are suggesting a contract deal with Ibra has been worked out at 5m a season which could rise to 8m on bonuses, Nike has also promised to aid with the payments.......
now Juve are working with PSG directors on the price, PSG wants 20-25m but Juve with the help of Raiola has brought it down to 15m.......
Ibra according to many news sites (including French ones) I have read has told PSG he wants to leave at the end of the season.....
when this rumor started I thought it was one of those Marotta Player X nonsense but this is getting to a whole new level now it seems, but its Marotta so you can never say never....
please put any Ibra updates you find/hear here...
p.s: in another twist Conte has asked for 5m a season new contract including the promise of about 3-4 world class player signings to guarantee Juve gets a step better in the next CL and also make him sign a new contract, it is believed Marotta is not in support of getting 3-4 WC players (typical Marotta } at all that monetary expense but Agnelli and Nedved are in support of this especially as we are seeing Nedved using his relationship with Raiola to get Ibra....
Ibra is expected to sign a 3yr contract......

I know most of you will yap the usual "he is too old, will be done soon" nonsense but have a look at the top strikers in the world currently
Van Persie
Rooney
Ronaldo
Messi
et all
they all getting to their primes in a way
Man Untd paid more for Van and I think he is like 29yrs....
Ibra is easily the 2nd best in the world at his position and for 15m I think that would be a great price, best news I hear also was that the money that was set aside to purchase Llorente last season is what is being used to get Ibra now, so buying Ibra won't affect our strategy in the summer.....
also having a player like Ibra would get us a commercial value windfall in shirt sales...... am sure we'd make more than 15m in shirt sales on him in 3 yrs so guys don't worry....
again, don't put your hearts too much into this lest Marotta tells us in the summer Biabiany is Player X
we Juve fans are used to heartbreaks anyway......
why are we not trying to get Luca Modric as a Pirlo replacement? once Mou gets out I see a lot of players leaving RM, and Modic is the best Pirlo replacement there is out there currently....... we could get him at a discounted price too if we are lucky....

Re: Fantasy Ibra updates here.....
Ibra is the most complete striker in the world.
Yeah we'll get 3-4 years out of him, but that's 3-4 years of competing for everything with the help of a true World Class player.
I'd take 3-4 years of Ibra over 7 or 8 seasons from a striker who may or may not work out for us.
Ibra is a guaranteed capocannoniere challenger and also has great playmaking qualities.
We keep him for 4 years and then we look to the future.

Ibra has proved his qualities in Serie A.I think 15mln it's a good price for a player of his level. The only problem is his wage,it's too high comparing with other players wages.

Re: Fantasy Ibra updates here.....
So the logical conclusion is if the board wanna buy world class players and everyone but Marotta who would just buy sampdoria and chievo if given 100 million dollars should be sacked. I no he bought us bargains etc but we really need to start buying quality instead of quantity we allready have a large roster now all we gotta do is improve on it and spend money but obviously not stupid amounts, despite what people think it is POSSIBLE to spend wise and bring in quality. I am yet to see a real top name at Juve that was delivered by Beppe and no i don't mean vidal, pogba etc, they weren't big names before they joined us. Get asamoah permantely, ceontrao or criscito and ibra and don't buy any other sh1t players that waste space and resources like diamanti and close the window it is that simple 40-50 mil spent, ur getting quality and ur not signing sh1t to fill in roster spaces

I don't think he could perform 4 more years at the top level, he is already close to 32. I agree that he is the most complete striker though.AbraKebabra Alacalamb wrote:Ibra is the most complete striker in the world.

Whatever will happen with this deal, the most important question here is money. Just don't overpay him for him, for god's sake.

oh ho trust good old sportsczy to show and quash any reports that doesn't favor him, same old sports brought us a Juve forum saying Vidal and Pogba would be headed out to Madrid.....
always comes in and claims things especially when its about Madrid and PSG like he can see right through a player's heart.....
am sure if same old tuttosport was claiming Pogba or Vidal was headed Madrid's way sports would claim how its about time they finally reported the story.....
Ibra to Juve stories are all over the place son, even le parisien [am sure they are not credible when story doesn't favor good old sportszy] after the PSG vs Nancy game reported Ibra's unhappiness in France when PSG fans booed the players.......
Ibra has openly praised Juve and said its an honor that Juve are after him
- His own agent knowing Juve cannot match his PSG wages is touting him to us.
- Ibra reportedly told the media he is leaving after the season
- T. Silva begging Ibra not to leave....
i mean come on you can laugh all you want but you cannot ignore the fact that this story doesn't have some substance to it...
* just so you know just as Madrid fans claim Marca is kinda close to the truth on Juve stories, so is Tutto on first hand Juve transfer rumors.
- I practically didn't have the time to put up the graphical pictures, or similar sources from
Sky Sports, BBC, Gazzetta dello Sport, Corriere, and so many more,
of course we are Juve and we fans know how much Marotta can screw it up, in fact that possibility is higher than us getting Ibra; a fact which was stated in the thread, and the thread name being ; FANTASY
you see we unlike Madrid fans don't go around claiming a player is practically ours because our team is bigger/richer than player's current team/or more attractive than player's current team.....
so you come here and demean our stories, it won't do you much good...
and also good old sportszcy claimed, Juve were meeting about a part exchange for Benzema - Vidal....
, like his dad is Florentino Perez
by their deeds....

Re: Fantasy Ibra updates here.....
There are some good French teams, but PSG is going to have a hard time keeping these players happy against the level of competition in Ligue 1. Money only goes so far for some players. When Ibra is potentially interested in taking a pay cut to leave, that tells you something.

Re: Fantasy Ibra updates here.....
If PsG are the only ones properly investing with the competition from 3nd place to bottom are selling, it could become a pretty lopsided league.
You'd have PsG and perhaps As Monaco competing between themselves whilst the other clubs sell any decent players to the EPL / La liga / whatever other league.
Keeping younger stars happy would be extremely difficult.
