60% bad games, 30% average games, 10% good games. Ladies and gentlemen, Fernando Torres.

Re: Premier League - Chelsea vs Tottenham Hotspur
With the 60% being all the PL games he's played in, the 30% being against foreign scrubs like Steaua, Rubin Kazan, Monterrey, Nordsjaelland, etc., and the last 10 being all domestic Cup games against the mighty Wolves, Leeds, Brentford, etc.Blue Barrett wrote:60% bad games, 30% average games, 10% good games. Yet some Torres fanboys will tell you he's had a good season simply because he's somehow managed 20 goals

I really have no idea how he's gotten to 20 goals. The only important goal he scored this season was against Brenford(was it?) in the FA Cup.ShedEnd1905 wrote:With the 60% being all the PL games he's played in, the 30% being against foreign scrubs like Steaua, Rubin Kazan, Monterrey, Nordsjaelland, etc., and the last 10 being all domestic Cup games against the mighty Wolves, Leeds, Brentford, etc.Blue Barrett wrote:60% bad games, 30% average games, 10% good games. In a game that was honestly one of his worst performances in a Chelsea shirt.Blue Barrett wrote:I really have no idea how he's gotten to 20 goals. The only way he's gotten to 20 anyway is simply because of the sheer amount of games he's played this season. 61 it is as of tonight. 20 in 61 is less than 1 in 3, which is hardly anything to get too excited over; and then when you look at whom those goals were actually scored against, it makes for even bleaker reading.

Very true Shed. Only reason hes scored so many is due to his gametime and he has Mazarcar behind him.
TBH, it was a decent game from him. He tried, at the very least.
While I was unhappy with the result before, it's decent. I just want us to field a strong enough team to beat Villa and I'll be happy.
We can't lose any of our remaining games though.

Yes we can. One more win will virtually assure Top 4. 2 wins will indeed be needed for 3rd though, in all likelihood.Kick wrote:Very true Shed. Only reason hes scored so many is due to his gametime and he has Mazarcar behind him.

And if we draw against villa?
The way I see it, We should be aiming for third now. That means winning all three matches. No if's but's or maybe's about it.

Yea...I said win one game. Doesn't matter which one it is and doesn't matter what the result in the other one is.Kick wrote:And if we draw against villa?

I'd rather not rely on beating Everton on what could be Moyes' last game there.

Re: Premier League - Chelsea vs Tottenham Hotspur
Yea...AGAIN...which is why I said one win.
A win vs Aston Villa and a loss vs Everton gets us there. A loss vs Villa and a win vs Everton also gets us there. As does a win in one of the games and a draw in the other.
One win. Not that hard to grasp, Kicky

We shouldn't have let them back into the match. Oh well, not the worst result.

A point is better than the worst result, a loss

Not when we'd done enough for all 3 points
Had it not been for absurd referring against Spuds and Liverpool, we'd be mathematically qualified already

I didn't understand the Benayoun sub, Clearly Lampard should have come on.
Hopefully he starts against Villa and bangs in a couple.
