More info surfacing. It seems it was a precaution so hopefully he's going to be OK.

Don Alfredo has returned home. It seems he's OK 
When asked about the draw about who he wanted he said
"It don't care who we drew, I'm not playing"
"I didn't know who we'd been drawn against, but I'm happy enough with Borussia", he continued.
When asked whether the supporters would have preferred to meet Barcelona, the former Real Madrid player and coach stated that "some Real Madrid fans wanted Barcelona, but not all of them".
As for the future of José Mourinho in the Real Madrid dugout, Di Stéfano said "I hope he stays".
