I'm convinced Indiana has the best trainers and development coaches in the league. I think anywhere else Hibbert would be in serious problems, all sorts of knee and foot injuries.

TMZ: Lamar Odom has been missing for the last 72+ hours.
They also say it's crack, but I gotta say I'm a bit skeptical. The guy has basically had the same body shape since he got into the league. Did he lose weight since leaving LA? And the source is Kris Jenner, for all I know she's lying trying to make the (inevitable) divorce easier.

Re: the official Dwayne Wade <<<<<< you thread
Sad day for me, used to really love this guy as a kid.
I think he has done this because he was getting uncomfortable with the almost ironic nature of the way the fans viewed him.
When he used to enter the game for the Spurs, the fans would cheer for him just to make a basket...it was like when Matt Scabrine entered the game or something.
The guy averaged 32 a game in his sleep in his day, it must of worn on him that everyone saw him in that way.
That plus all the injuries.
Anyway, amazing player in his day. As Kobe, he even recently said TMac gave him the biggest problems and people forget there was a time he legit could say he was just as good as Kobe.

Amazing player, who had a huge effect on basketball up in Canada.
He did leave a bit sourly and hastily, but he did contribute alot to the game along with Carter here in Canada, and now we are seeing the effects of it with the likes of Bennett, Tristan Thompson, Wiggins coming through.
Good luck to him.

Just saw him annoucement on first take, and it seems pretty clear some of what I said is the case.
He mentioned how he feels like teams arent willing to give him the type of role he still feels capable of.

You've been looking for over a year?Davide Moscardelli wrote:Haha good lol I was always looking for the NBA thread and I didnt think this was it
Do you guys think a side cup would work in the NBA? A one off side tournament similar to the FA Cup and all of them other footy tournaments?
I think it would be a great idea, getting to see players shine in a game 7 situation more often... The regular season would have to get shortened though
Hopefully Adam Silver can implement it when he takes over

Re: the official Dwayne Wade <<<<<< you thread
Intresting idea. If the season was shorter, I think for sure it would be good.
But I am not sure how seriously the players/coaches will take it, not with the season itself being such a long grind.
Im sure someone like Popovic would withhold Duncan, Ginobli, Parker and co.

Yeah maybe the older guys would be given rests, but I think in the deeper rounds it would be taken more seriously.. Would give the lesser teams a chance to win something also
Would be interesting to see, something the players are not used to so it would be fun for them IMO..

Re: the official Dwayne Wade <<<<<< you thread
A single elim tournament would be cool but the Players Union would never let that happen without reconstructing every players contract. Which if that did happen would probably lead to another players/owners lockout.
It's the same reason the NFL won't extend the season to 18 games.

Yeah Wall is a talent, im not an avid fan but I like his game. He is starting to really hit the elbow jumper and that will just make him unstoppable for most defenders.Davide Moscardelli wrote:Anyone here an avid John Wall fan like me

In the open court, he's incredible, just way too fast and at 6'3, great point guard size.
