Its still the celtics. Doc Rivers is the BEST coach in the NBA, so I was not surprised they made a late run.

Carmelo is still better than any player the pacers have...When the Knicks NEEDED carmelo btw, he scored 7 straight points.. Just throwing that out there. I'd like to see If anyone wouldn't trade any player on the pacers straight up for carmel..

If woodson wasn't so clueless, the series would not have gone as long as it did. Smith and Kidd should have been benched so many times, yet he left them in. Felton should have been given the ball and let HIM run the offense. Woodson keeps playing small and I don't understand why. The celtics only came back when the knicks were playing 4 guards on the floor at the same time. They had Camby, kenyon Martin, Chandler, Copeland, Novak.. All these legit forwards who are 6'10'' plus.. yet he kept playing small ball... Makes no sense what so ever...

I beg to differ. Although I do agree that Doc is one of the top 3, he's not the best. Popovich for me

But make no mistake, their offense when they are actually moving the ball is top 3 in the league and Melo is the pivotal element of it. I read he's missed his last 18 from 3. I call that a major slump and hopefully he finds his way out of it.

I don't know if i'd call it a slump Josh.
It's bad man, really bad. When the Celtics where making their historic run, EVERYONE on the Knicks team were shying away from the ball and looking to find Melo or JR each time, that's why Bradley got 4 steals in about 4 minutes.
Thank God they have Felton, someone who was willing to take the ball to the hole and actually do something.

The play that summed it up best was when Bradley stole the ball basically in the half court from Melo. Why does he have the ball out there? Why is he bringing it up the court? It's ridiculous.

Also, on Melo. The guy shot 161 shots this series.... he made 61. That is pathetic.
The Pacers are going to seriously beat them down.

Durant is still kinda adjusting to having less space than he's accustomed to - and having to handle the ball. I know he improved the latter this season, but he's still not great at it - and the former is probably a big shock of not having Westbrook.

Serge Ibaka and Perkins need to do much much better than I saw tonight. Ibaka is probably suffering from losing WB as well, remember reading a stat that WB assisted on something like 50% of his buckets.
