The only impressive aspect of that team is the defence. Coentrao, Pepe and Pereira are all very good but defenders don't win games, do they?

Based on their performance no one expected them to qualify from the group stage in the Euro 2012 and they went deep into the competition. They are a excellent cup team.. Nani isn't a scrub but at the same time his final third decision making is alittle lacking

Meireles is so good (not) he has been subbed out now that Portugal have a man advantages

I want to see Portugal at WC but i don't think they will . They usually suffer to qualify but they manage to somehow but this year I believe will be the exception. They did pretty well at Euro, why are they suffering so much now ??

He used to be more offensive when he played for Benfica tho. Yeah oftenly enough has been caught out of the position and seen him going forward with the ball, either play it safe or overlapping. His not bad, but not Marcelo either. Mind you he can defend better than a Marcelo tho.

All I know is that if Israel qualify and Portugal don't, Israel deserve it and the tournament is probably better off without Portugal. I have no reason to believe otherwise. History counts for nothing.
