Suarez invites Juventus offer

Liverpool striker Luis Suarez has publicly invited Juventus or another Champions League club to make him an offer. “They are welcome.”

Over the last few days the reported Juve interest in the Uruguayan has increased with suggestions of a €30m proposal.

The big selling point the Bianconeri have is that they will be in the Champions League next season, whereas Liverpool could miss out on Europe altogether.

“I am very happy at Liverpool but you never know in football,” Suarez told Uruguayan media ahead of a World Cup qualifier with Paraguay.

“A player's ambition is always there, the ambition of wanting to play in elite teams is always there.

“I'm in a world-class team, an elite team like Liverpool. If another team comes around with more prospects of competing in international club competition games, which is willing to have me, they are welcome.

“We would talk to the club, we would see if I want to go, if I don't want to go.”

Suarez has been crucial for the Reds this term, notching up 29 goals in 40 games, and his contract runs until June 2017.

He first joined Liverpool from Ajax in January 2011 for £23m.

First of all he's not leaving this summer. That's a given!!

Second, €30m wouldn't buy anyone his left boot let alone be enough to make us consider letting him go. That's roughly the same amount we bought him. No chance he'll go that cheap. He won't be leaving for anything less than £40m.

With that said, I'd still be devastated if we sold him even for £40m. And teams can come back for him summer of 2014 if we don't make CL.

Just sell him now, Liverpool isn't making CL next year.
