events organiser?
As much as I love the Admin staff I think perhaps it is time for an events admin whose sole job is to update the banner when needed, produce the GL awards every year and maybe even come up with a few other events throughout the calendar year.
More events could potentially attract more members to stay and swifter production of Banners and awards would certainly keep the current members happy. (sorry RG. )
they wouldn't need any power, just communication with the Admins which would mean less work for the admins as I know many of them are busy such as RedO who spends most of his time consuming the souls of Everton's youth players.

Underneath it all, isn't every thread a diss RG thread?

that would require Admin doing things, he seems much too lazy for that.

The greatest trick Admin ever pulled was convincing the world he didn't exist.

Re: events organiser?
judging by the lack of serious replies I am going to assume RG and RedO don't like the idea.

lol It's actually a good idea and something we will discuss for sure. Because it's not that i am lazy (let's not get into that now ) it's just that i am not as free as i used to back a year or two. And all the other admins have jobs of their own too so when i had a lot of free time in the past i used to do things ( like the 1st contest ).
We'll discuss this for sure.

I completely understand, TBH, you wouldn't make admin status anywhere if you were lazy. I have been a mod on other forums so I understand the work that goes into it.
just something I thought could help the forum improve.

Re: events organiser?
I don't think it's all that hard having a banner competition. Just make a thread, tell people to submit their entries, then make a vote poll to decide the best one after the deadline.

Competitions every now and then for a bit of fun plus the annual awards, I am sure who ever would be the organiser could think of some events.
