TBH, this tie is going to be awesome.

I don't think form will come into play, it will be more about, who can get the first goal.

Dont think FIAT can destroy Barca at the Nou, i can maybe see a 0-0 at France, and a 3-1 in Spain. If they try their hardest they could even salvage a draw away 2-2 or 1-1

Will be a tough game. If PSG get the first goal in both the legs, then Barca won't progress.

They have never beaten a quality team on the road 11v11 in CL KO stages In their golden era.

psg has more quality players than milan, considering what milan managed to achieve (being 1 goal away from qualifing), i dont think is fair to rule out psg just yet..

He hasn't been all that great in the CL games tbh. He only has 2 goals in 7 games. Of the 5 assists he has, he got 4 of them in one game against Zagreb. Both his goals were against Kiev.

Not saying PSG won't miss him some. But he has been largely average in CL so far.

well it's a cl knockout game so ibra would have zero impact, suspended or not lol

lucas and lavezzi will be key to this game, if they show up alba and alves won't know what hit them... but if they don't, psg are otherwise pretty crap unless they seriously turn it up from the way they played against us... they created a grand total of 4 chances against a defence with ricardo costa and guardado in it ffs

Yeah, we're pretty crap other than Lavezzi and Lucas. Just terrible the rest of the players

verratti was good in the first game, as was lavezzi and moura, the rest did *bleep* all

in the second game psg parked the bus, other than matuidi who was an absolute beast noone did anything either

while this may work, barely, against soldado, jonas and feghouli, i'm not sure about the effectiveness of this approach against messi, villa and iniesta but whatever floats your boat

We played conservative against Valencia because we had a lead... we also had Verrati injured and Jallet out to go with Ibra's suspension. Our big victory at Valencia in the first leg + the suspension/injury issues led to Carlo's choice. Did i agree with it? No because you're surrendering momentum to a much weaker team. But that's Carlo. He's a mathematician right now as opposed to a football manager. Not sure why either... Against Barca, ok. But that tactic against Valencia was just dumb.

As far as the rest... the team is great. they lose concentration against the lesser teams in the league. But that's mostly on Carlo. He's not a very good motivator. He's also way too conservative against weak teams... he needs to go after them and he tends to remain in a tactical balloon. We're undefeated in all the big games so far this year though, so it works great in big occasions.

I don't get nervous on big occasions because i know that's what this team is built for and i know that Carlo is programmed to manage well in these. Our talent is as good as anyone. There's no talent gap except at fullback. that's the only relative weakness compared to the elite clubs.

I am not going to say they are shit but they are not at CL level so let's not use it as a benchmark to measure PSG. People will make the French teams look like world beaters to argue their point about PSG being a top team. PsG will no doubt up their game against Barca. They have pretty awful full-backs (At CL level anyway) and a good but probably not great goalkeeper but even without Ibra for the first game it's hard not to see the 3 attacking midfielders not causing trouble against a Barca defence which has kept hardly any clean sheets since the start of the 2012/2013 season.

Who are we kidding here. PSG to be steamrolled. Period.

O there is no way Barca will keep a clean sheet in the 2 legs but I don't think PSG will stop Barcas attack. If Barcelona play te way they did in the 2nd leg against Milan it will be tough for PSG to stop them. Ofcourse no one knows what Barca team will show up in Paris. I think the 1st leg will be huge in this tie because if Barca win in Paris they will just dispose PsG at home. If the lose in Paris they will have to play harder in the return leg. I don't really think PSG has an amazing defence but that is only my opinion.
