Juvi, i dont see any of these teams beating them, except maybe if Barcelona pulled one out of their hat like they did yesterday

I don't think Juve's 3-5-2 will work against big teams in Europe. Especially those that utilize heavy wing play. Ribery-Alaba or Ronaldo-Marcelo for instance would be a nightmare for a team with 1 fullback and no winger. Unless they decide to get 10 men behind the ball and play on the counter (which I can see them doing, I mean if they concede possession to Celtic how will they approach Barca? ). Then the shape won't matter.

The nearest CM covers the full back in such events. Not to mention the Left or Right CB can step out. Our 3-5-2 isn't normally weak to wide play as you would think. And there's nothing funny about conceeding possession to Celtic. They embarrased some of the big boys who came and thought possession was the key. We tactically destroyed them. Possession is NOT the aim of football.

Juventus don't have good enough strikers for this level. def can't see them winning it. a comfortable win v those scrubs Celtic ain't changing nothing.

Strikers are important but not as important as tactics. And imo Juve is smarter tactically than any team left in the competition.

I see a trend in competitions 'lately'. If the Spanish Barca players have a good tournament or their country wins a tournament, Barca do well the next season. Euro 08, Spain win, Barcelona win the Champions League, La Liga, Copa. In 10, WC won by Spain, next season Barca win CL and La Liga. Spain win Euro 12, Barca players to win CL? The final is at Wembley and we seem to win every final at the Wembley...

Or it could be that Barcelona and the Spanish NT are one and the same

more like Zona mista ( similar to the link down aka the picture) its not typical 3-5-2 and Imo Licht wouldn't just let one pass him like that esp not with Marchisio and Vidal in the middle.

Yeah in serie A our strikers have failed, but a goal is a goal. It doesn't matter who it came from or where. We're the 2nd top scorers in the CL and have the best defensive record RED.

Yeah our strikers are not amazing but we're getting the job done time and time again.

With Matri slowly getting in form 7 goals in 11 games I kind of disagree but yet again our strength is not the strikers and that's not what Conte asks from them. Even he himself said that the strikers need to create space for the midfielders to shoot or knock the ball down or pass it to other midfielder. Striker need to pull man on them to, so far this philosophy works. Ofc I would love us to have our own 'falcao' but I am satisfied with INFORM Matri

One thing I know for sure is that Barca ain't gonna win it. Sure they are excellent going forward, but their defense and gk remains a suspect. All it takes is for Messi to have a bad day in the office, and it's pretty much lights out for the club from catalunya.
