Ganso is also learning Italian.

As far as Astori, it's not the end of the world. He would be 4th or 5th choice cenerback.

Ganso will play LCM, no one ever said that we need a CAM, we have always said LCM. He will play LCM

Roma have officially bought Borriello from us. 10m will be paid over the next three seasons. 3.4m for the first and 3.3m for the next two years.

Ganso playing as an LCM will limit his effectiveness and essentially ruin him as a player. I'm sorry to say that, but every Santos and Brazil fan (even some on this very forum) I've talked with, has said he's best as a CAM.

Anyways business news. Our transfer mercato is NOT talk like other teams in Italy... we do not thrive on rumors. We thrive on ACTUAL BUSINESS. We do not quote Tuttosport, AS or Marca making claims. We've seen a fair bit of results today... though the business with Astori I would have hope would have ended differently. It's not the end of the world. There are better defenders out there.

Not a bad bit of business for Borriello. Fair on Roma.

Our market today has been super red hot. Expect more business in the next few days.

BTW, a Marchetti-Amelia swap is nearing completion it is reported. This is another bit of business with Cagliari. I'd prefer Marchetti as our second choice keeper, as I like Marchetti more than Amelia. The way Marchetti has been treated the last season by Cagliari is just not right.

http://www.milannews.it/?action=read&idnotizia=55325

In addition, there is a meeting between Braida and Corvino... not mentioning whom... Montolivo is not said to have been discussed but it wasn't exactly ruled out.

http://www.milannews.it/?action=read&idnotizia=55333

http://www.calciomercato.it/news/122387/Calciomercato-Milan-Oddo-nel-mirino-di-Leonardo.html

Massimo Oddo may make a move to PSG, after Leonardo was appointed to management. Also there was some unfortunate news regarding Leonardo himself... he refused to take an alcohol sobriety test in Brazil and was fined.

http://www.milannews.it/?action=read&idnotizia=55247

I guess coaching Inter really could drive one to become an alcoholic.

http://www.calciomercato.it/news/122363/Calciomercato-Milan-ufficiali-gli-acquisti-di-Boateng-e-Paloschi.html

Also one thing that is a mere formality, Boateng and Paloschi were officially registered as full Milan players, and Paloschi will remain at Milan for the season Galliani confirmed.

Mistranslation on my part. The article about the meeting between Corvino and Braida may not have been about Montolivo... but the source doesn't exactly rule it out. I don't know who else it could have been about. There was some mention about Cassano, but I don't think Fiorentina need him.

Anyways another interesting article:

http://www.sportmediaset.mediaset.it/mercato/mercato/articoli/62505/il-milan-ci-prova-per-fabregas.shtml

Sportmediaset is reporting that Milan is pushing for Fabregas. I believe if Barcelona get Sanchez, they won't have the funds to get Fabregas. It is being described as difficult, but not impossible. THe problem is Barcelona offered 30 million but were turned down. Arsenal wants 40 million. I would prefer we focus mostly on Ganso, and I hope he does well tonight (though that may send his value up).

Ya I read about the meeting as well, but on Sky 24 they said it might be a Cassano Montolivo swap? I'd really hate to see Cassano go, but I'd love to have Monty

I'm split on it. I'd prefer to have us sign Montolivo end of story. No swap... Cassano could be very important this upcoming season, especially in the CL.

Despite my slight dismay about Astori and reluctance about El Shaarawy, I think there is a lot of promising development.

take a look, Prince, Silva, Pato, El Shaarawy, Abate, Taiwo, Emmanuelson and possibly Ganso, Poli, Merkel, Strasser, and Verdi. The future looks real bright. All under the age of 25.

Santos has been absolutely dreadful. Ganso has been okay... but the game has been dreadful. Neymar should have been SENT OFF period.

For that challenge that nearly broke that guy's leg.

Stop being so biased. This game has been horrible. Ganso has been alright, Neymar bad... and Santos overall lacking creativity. Elano? Bleh.

I do like Ganso and want him to join us... but the truth is Santos has been poor.
