Re: Race for Europe
The games against direct rivals will determine the outcome. Otherwise its still a possibility. We need to get Destro back. Osvadlo is poor and will let us down.

Re: Race for Europe
To be honest, I think it's best not to look at the standings. The mentality of taking it one game at a time is going well so far, so best not to get ahead of ourselves.

Re: Race for Europe
Yeah agreed. We shouldn't even be thinking about any of that right now. Let's just concentrate on not dropping points.

Re: Race for Europe
i agree with you that players and the manager can take 1 game at the time but i feel the placement in table will effect a great deal on the manager future and even some players

Re: Race for Europe
we are pretty much out of the race for 3rd and i don't see anyway other than coi to be at EL either , Still Totti is a face of Roma ,Thanks to Zeman he is having a great season but he will be 1 year older next season , and a manager still unclear

Re: Race for Europe
Thanks sorry I didn't remember it because that was a time when I gave up home on Juve in Europe and refused to watch CL and EL matches. Hopefully Roma can get back to those European heights soon for the sake of Serie A.
Re: Race for Europe
Feels like an eternity since we've played in the CL.
We absolutely must get past Inter in the semis (that tie is definitely not over yet) in order to partially save the last part of the season. I still disagree like hell on the fact that both legs are months apart, but every level of Italian bureaucracy is full of crap.
Aside from that EL is still realistic in the standings, CL is definitely out of the picture.

Re: Race for Europe
We're not CL calibre anyway so while the money would be great, I don't think we're there yet.
Let's scrub it out in the EL first and at least make a deep run in it, game some of our prestige back on the continental stage.

Re: Race for Europe
Juve just beat the docks , now EL looks like a realistic Target , of coarse im still hoping for a mini miracle for CL spot because despite the fact that BD is a good team to follow at CL but Roma is just what makes me interested in football Juve beat milan and milan go on losing strike , fiorentina get many injuries and lazio and inter keep on losing and Roma beat Milan mini miracle

Re: Race for Europe
As romantic as it would be for Roma to somehow make a return to the CL right now. EL football is in our future and we're not even prepared for that honestly.
A lot of talent in this side, but not near enough quality in depth.

Re: Race for Europe
This is why we're not ready for the CL or even the EL. We did not take Pescara seriously and this is what happens. Sadly, I expect more of the same against Siena. This is why we did not take Slovan Bratislava seriously either and we all know what happened there.
If we want Europe, we must take these smaller sides seriously and put them to the sword. Pescara were there for the taking so many times.
