That is not true. I know many of my friends that has visited the Bernabeu. In fact, I was in the Bernabeu and watched the Milan vs Real Madrid in CL game.
I know I'm not alone on this

Of course, but just think about it. Some of us are complaining about a place we will only visit a few times, if ever.

Re: The New Bernabeu
Santiago Bernabéu €400 million-renovation plans have been given the go-ahead by the Madrid City Council.
Everything will go according to plan, except it won't have the hotel and shopping center Flo wanted to include. The capacity won't be increased either.

Seeing some of the old posters' names. Memories. And look, further proof of McLaddy's Madrid past.

Re: The New Bernabeu
Here are some good pictures of the chosen design
http://ribas-arquitectos.com/portfolio/santiago-bernabeu/
I like it. The design seems a bit cold, serious, and "professional," like what you would expect to be the headquarters of Google or Apple for example, but i like that.
The design is minimalist and avant-garde, years if not generations ahead of what the surrounding buildings look like and i predict it will age well, and as a stadium design it is distinctive. If you look at stadiums like the Allianz Arena or Chelsea's proposed plans
You can see they are distinctive, and i like this, but if you look at pictures of New White Hart Lane and New Camp Nou for example,
These look more generic as "futuristic" stadiums for my taste.
I can appreciate arguments i've heard that we should have made a new stadium in Ciudad Real Madrid in Valdebebas that would allow for better parking, traffic, and thousands of more seats, but keeping the Bernabeu in Chamartin preserves a heritage that belongs to the stadium and the city imo. At 80k + seats the only top club with more seating is Camp Nou anyways.

Looks pretty ugly IMO, minimal is supposed to be elegant and simple. That mock-up is gaudy generic.

Re: The New Bernabeu
I can't believe Nick reported me for this.
Anyway, the video itself is this one (taken from Marca):
http://www.marca.com/en/football/real-madrid/2018/05/08/5af1c983468aebe1508b4679.html
I should've probably checked whether the link was working before posting it, but it's in no way a virus. I repeat, I took it from Marca.
@Nick: you wrongly reported a fellow well-behaved and innocent Madrid fan and accused him of wrongdoings. So unless Madrid wins the CL, I'll not forgive you.

Do not worry, If it is an honest mistake then you will not need to worry about a punishment.
But do be careful of what links you post in the future

I always knew something was sinister about the other DoC. Was way too honourable for a poster. Glad proper mods like Kick and patriots like Nick uncovered his schemes.

Re: The New Bernabeu
According to reliable source @nuevobernabeu on Twitter, Madrid are finished with all the bureaucratic stuff and are now working on the plan and schedule for construction work and on finalizing the financing of the renovation. It will cost around 400 million and for now, the club will begin the project through its own funding.
So my question is, what part of our budget is this money going to come from and how is it going to be organized so that we're not put in any icky financial situations?

Re: The New Bernabeu
I would like to think that Florentino isn't stupid enough to make Madrid finance the €400m-euro project themselves. At least I hope so.
