What is the point of building this? It will only be a slight improvement on the current stadium and will cost a stupid amount to build.

we arent building a new stadium, we are modifying the design and making it up more modern. It's going to bring a lot more money than it will cost.

It's also a project made with the support of the city of madrid since they are applying for the olympics, euros etc...

To be honest, Bernabeu is one of those footballing temples right now and has plenty of capacity - don't see the need to change a winning formula.

I don't like it at all, why are we copying Bayern? I sure hope it will look different from the Allianz Arena when it is completed...

How can it change futbol atmosphere? The statium itself is going to be the same only 10,000 more seats. The changes are mostly to outside of building. Besides lifting the look within the city, it modernizes the city somewhat (keeping up with Barcelona) and the extra seating capacity makes the seating cap almost the same as Camp Nou. The extra seats will be sold out as soon as they are put up for sale. By the way, the costs will more than be recovered within 3 years. Not a bad ROI at all.

I don't get all the complaints in this forum. Most of you will never visit statium so why does it matter to you?
