Re: Call of Duty: Ghosts
I believe everything but certain perks are unlocked from the start, but you need squad points in order to purchase them. I lost at least 500, probably closer to 1000 squad points, when the last update reseted my progress from the day prior to itYohan Modric wrote:Every gun and attachment is available from level 1?

Free for alls always have been so easy
Joined a game insanely late, went 20-7
Next game finished it quickly on 30-6.
game after that again 30 to win, and 9 deaths.

Soveriegn is such a shit map
Overly complicated and just finding your way out of a place in impossible
Won 30-22, most of my deaths came from getting lost ffs. 1st time playing it, ideally the last too.

Average kills per game up to 13 now, which is decent considering i've been sniping a lot and i'm barely playing kill friendly game modes like domination.

Re: Call of Duty: Ghosts
There's no HB sensor, but there's a burst assault rifle called MSBS, which is easily one of the best guns in the game. It consistently one-shots people from the chest and up, from close to mid- ranges. The long-range damage on it is pretty awful, though... if you're trying to hit a sniper across the map, you may have to hit him up to 3-5 times, depending on which part of the body you're hitting. All guns kill extremely fast in this game, which means that burst weapons aren't as effective as they've been in previous CoD games. I've experienced killing people with one tap of the trigger button, using FAD... and it wasn't even a headshot. You can "sound whore" very effectively in this game, thoughYohan Modric wrote:Is M16/Type 95 with a HB sensor and holo sight in the game?

Don't bother with domination. Game mode is ruined by campers. Me and Thimmy play Blitz (atleast in Blitz you know where they camp).Tomwin Lannister wrote:Average kills per game up to 13 now, which is decent considering i've been sniping a lot and i'm barely playing kill friendly game modes like domination.

Good lad
Yeah I'm spending my squad points on killstreaks now, It's hard to get over 20odd kills on TDM even if i'm raping the lobby cause satcom and maniac are awful killstreaks
First game i unlocked chopper just went 29-6 on siege despite the map being bigger than a small country

Re: Call of Duty: Ghosts
A pretty good indication that Infinity Ward has no idea what kind of maps we like.. unless we actually inform them about it I wonder if their former map designer was among the staff that left IW.Tomwin Lannister wrote:Of all the awesome mw2 maps....

Re: Call of Duty: Ghosts
Yeah I mean it's pretty clear most people loved
Highrise
Terminal
Wasteland (Although people ruined it by always congregating in the trench bit)
And other maps like sub base and derailed
Scrapyard wasn't bad but it's one of the least memorable maps from mw2
On Ghosts, I love the 'Stormfront' map, I literally only just played my first game on it at level 28 because people always vote against it. It's great, multi layers, a giant complex, a working elevator and nice scenery.

Re: Call of Duty: Ghosts
I liked all of the MW2 maps, to be honest. At least, compared to the more recent maps in the series of CoD games. I used to despise the DLC map, Carnival.. but it's definitely a lot better than many of the more recent maps. I even miss maps like Estate. That map was just large enough - there was plenty of space... especially for sniping, but it was still small enough to provide fast-paced action where you didn't have to search for enemies all the time. Also, there weren't a lot of obstacles on that map. One thing that really annoys me about the Ghosts maps sometimes, is that some of the maps have TONS of obstacles that either provide campers with a good look-out spot, or just stand in my way. The last time I played Ghosts, some hardcore campers were sitting behind two separate crates: one in a desolate part of the map that I don't remember the name of (the one with the mine tunnel), and the other one was sitting behind a crate to the immediate left, as you enter the basement of one of the buildings there. It just feels like they're supporting campers with the map design and all of these unnecessary obstacles. I predict that Ghosts is going to be the worst game in CoD history, camping-wise, once we get to the point when there's only 1-2 months left for the next CoD game - a period where the most devoted campers tend to dominate CoD lobbies.Tomwin Lannister wrote:Yeah I mean it's pretty clear most people loved

Re: Call of Duty: Ghosts
Yeah COD is too camper friendly atm but oddly enough I don't think it's favourable enough to actual snipers.
For such big maps, the sniping spots seem to overlook really isolated and obstacle littered parts of the map, and people spawn way too close to you.

Re: Call of Duty: Ghosts
Simplistic map designs is what they should aim for. It's what made MW2 maps good.
I'm guessing Ghosts maps are worse than DLC maps Fuel and Carnival from MW2, in terms of size and obstacles?
