Bergkamp for first-team role
Arsenal will target Dennis Bergkamp for a first-team role as they prepare to make an internal appointment to replace outgoing academy chief Liam Brady this summer, Goal.com understands.
Speaking in 2009, Bergkamp said he "wouldn’t rule out" working for Arsenal again and added: "I want to work and train a team in England. Not as a head coach but instead as a member of staff, where I could work specifically with the strikers."
Wenger, meanwhile, says it is crucial Arsneal make the right choice: "We are starting the process now. We will choose the best possible person. It is very important."

What do you guys think?
I would be so happy if he comes back, and the best place for him to start.

This role suits him, I remember him saying in one interview that he prefers working with young players.

Why would he want to go from an assistant manager to coach

Great players doesnt always mean great coaches..
But i would hate to see our legends contributing to rival clubs as Viera is doing now..

he is the assistant manager at Ajax, so there is no question about his coaching abilities. But i don't it would be a good career move him to move from being a Assistant Manager to a First Team coach

My thoughts exactly. I hate hearing him speak for "THAT" team. I know he still cares for the Arsenal, but still... Would love to have DB at London Colney.

Think Stewart Robson would do a decent replacing Liam Brady
