-He shows the same discipline and work ethic that he does with Italia.
-That he shows Max, his team mates and the Milanisti the respect that is required of him.
-That he doesn't party, smoke and clown around all night, show up late to training, be Mario Balotelli
-Follow the Milan code, philosophy and general lifestyle that is expected of a Milan caveliere
-Until he actually performs and convincingly so whilst justifying his price tag.

When he does, Ganso will be responsible for throwing it in my face and telling me to shut it.

Let's not forget that 20 mil over 6 years has a NPV of 14.5 mil with a 10% discount rate. Don't mean to get too technical, point is 20 mil over 6 years is not even close to playing 20 mil upfront. basically we are paying 3/4 mil per year. Financially, its not that big of an investment.

Clearly this move has many risks, but after the depression of last summer's window moves like this make me really happy. So i'm going to focus on the positives.

We know how good Balo can be if he applies himself. I'll leave it at that. High risk, high reward.

Also, this is going to help La Nazionale a lot. Let's not forget that. Prandelli is going to be very happy.

Everyone keeps talking about how bad the defense is, it's really only missing one center back in my opinion. We have Abate and De Sciglio, two very good right backs fighting for the right back position. At left back Constant has been a very pleasant surprise and I still believe he is our solution at left back; we have even already invested in him. As for the center of Defense I think Zapata is getting real close to top ability. Zapata over the past couple games has become our top center back and has been playing very well. We do need to purchase someone better than Mexes though. That should be the next investment.

I agree MTD. Lots of people complaining about our backline but all it needs is one CB. We have never been so lucky with the FB situation since Maldini, hopefully in June management realized this. 1 CB, 1 MID, 1 GK and we are a CL club again

Of course we all want Ogbonna at CB, but I think Salamon would be a great purchase as well. In the summer I think we should start gearing towards the 4-2-3-1. Right now we are being linked to Poli (light interest, but real) and if we did pull it off, I think it would be a great signing for us. Also, Saponara is a trequartista and would do really well in the 4-2-3-1. We could actually benefit from a sale of Prince.

I really hope we manage to pull off the Poli transfer before the end of the window. For the defense, I doubt we will be getting anyone else since we already got Zaccardo

I'm a bit upset that we had to spend a 20+ mil on a single player, tbh i would have preferred keeping our expenses tight considering we might not make Champions league next season.

People are forgetting his passion to play for Milan, this is what we want in our players the desire and passion to play for the club, in the good glory days our team was packed by those players, you give 110%.

Balo has done what no other player has ever done just to play for Milan, wearing Milan shirt in public while playing for Inter. Watch a live Milan game while playing for Inter, always showed his desire to return to Italy and play for Milan, wasted 2-3 years of his career cause he is not with Milan, had a salary cut to play for Milan.
