Seriously needs a kick on the ass. I can't believe how he is playing recently its as if he is spitefully trying to dive after every touch and he has developed a complex that everything he does must go his way.

Re: The Official Super Mario Fan Club
As i said before, he needs to stop fishing for fouls. At times, he goes down when he can stay on his feet. Additionally, he shouldn't let it get to him whenever a decision doesn't go our way, always raising his arms and spouts stuff whenever the ref doesn't give him what he wants.
He was dangerous when he came on yesterday, and shifted the game our way. That is the most important aspect of Balo, he can tip the scale of games very easily. The issue is that at times, he is over-indulgent of himself. Adulation is what raises his game and what breaks it, he just needs the right attitude to compliment himself as a player on and off the pitch

We need a player like Nesta or Ambro to straighten him out.

I can't help but think that Prandelli will know how to set him straight, which is one of the positives if we get him

Re: The Official Super Mario Fan Club
AC Milan star Mario Balotelli has vowed to improve his attitude on the pitch.
The striker has been embroiled in a number of spats in matches so far this season and was caught up in an alleged racism row with Nicolas Spolli during the clash with Catania, although the defender has since been cleared of any wrongdoing.
Although Balotelli reacted with frustration at the decision - stating "Hahaha! Fortunately, there is justice in this country" in an ironic comment on Twitter - the former Manchester City man has made it clear he intends to better his own behaviour, and confirmed his intention to stay at Milan.
"Compared to the past, many things are changing... I will try to change certain attitudes. But I will stay," he told magazine Buone Notizie.
"I printed into my mind all the warmth of the fans when I joined this team."
Balotelli went on to praise the principal coaches he has worked with during his career to date, describing how each of them has played an important role in his development despite their different approaches.
"Everyone has played a different role. Roberto Mancini has been like a father, Jose Mourinho was a great motivator. And Massimiliano Allegri, a team-mate," he added.

Re: The Official Super Mario Fan Club
What is an "Ibra-like" performance anyway? 2 goals and 2 assists?
If yesterday was any indication, then i think Balo had an Ibra-like performance against Atleti away, if not more

Re: The Official Super Mario Fan Club
AC Milan striker Mario Balotelli lambasted Clarence Seedorf's decision to substitute him in Friday's Serie A loss to Roma during an explosive post-match interview.
The Italy international was replaced by fellow forward Giampaolo Pazzini after 69 ineffective minutes at the Stadio Olimpico but was visibily upset by decision.
Balotelli appeared to ask Seedorf why he was being taken off and the 23-year-old admitted in an interview with Sky Sport Italia after the game that he was not happy with the coach's decision before then making a sarcastic reference to the fact that the panel of Giancarlo Marocchi, Zvonimir Boban and Christian Panucci had been discussing his merits as a truly world class player.
"I didn't understand my substitution," he admitted. "But given that in the studio they say that I'm not a top player, it will have been for that."
Host Marocchi suggested his substitution was perhaps because Balotelli had not moved very much while on the field, prompting a furious response from the attacker.
"Who's speaking? Marocchi? He doesn't understand football," the former Manchester City man fumed.
“I never said I’m a top player. I am a perfectly normal player. It will take time to become world class, but the reasons why I am not a top player are not the same reasons you think.
“Every game is different. If I didn’t get near the goal once tonight, then there has to be a reason.
“You always talk about me. When Milan win Mario’s great, when Milan lose it’s all Mario’s fault. I don’t need your criticism, I make my own criticism.
“You always talk and talk, say I’m precious to Italian football, but there’s no point to saying these things. No point.”
Former Milan midfielder Zvonimir Boban then weighed in, accusing Balotelli of disrespecting his Sky colleague.
"You think you're world class? But where are you going? You never do a self-critique."
Balotelli then interrupted. "I don't need your criticism," before bring an abrupt end to the interview.

Re: The Official Super Mario Fan Club
I still think we can cultivate Mario with Pippo at the helm, i think he'll benefit more so from Pippo than Seedorf considering that he used to be a striker.

I will always love him and have faith in him to become one of the world's best. But I don't think he will achieve that anytime soon. Perhaps he is truly destined to be like Ibra and will not peak until late 20s/early 30s. I say we sell him now while we can still get a good price for him.

I think we are better off keeping him. He will score goals and his price will increase from what it is now, which is rock bottom.

Re: The Official Super Mario Fan Club
Can I ask.. the rumours that he's available for £14m (~17.5m euro)...
True?
Second question... do you think a move back to the EPL.. To Arsenal or Liverpool would bring the best, the worst, or more of the same from Balo?
My impression, from an Arsenal perspective, is that for 14m he's well worth it. Worst case scenario is that Wenger has enough of him after a season and we flog him for a small loss. 14m seems such a bargain for a player with his talent and potential, behavioural issues or not. Ultimately if he is getting benched by Giroud, he comes across to me as someone who, as well as bitching and moaning, will compete.

True? I highly doubt it considering we paid more than that for him.

Re: The Official Super Mario Fan Club
Basically what Forza said. Galliani will always try to make a profit from players, especially big names. I doubt that he'd go for under 20m. It is possible, but we bought him for 20m + bonuses.
Regarding England, Balo is very vocal about the media and his time in England. Even in his first interview, he denied answering questions for The Sun newspaper. At the moment, i don't think England is a viable destination for Balo.

Well this is his last shot for sure now. I hope he does well tbh
Re: The Official Super Mario Fan Club
I guess I'm pretty much the only Liverpool fan who would have liked him to stay. At least under different manager. Mario was used wrong last season and I do think he's a good player. Not a lone striker, imo, and it's a shame no manager to my knowledge has tried him in midfield. Anyway, hopefully he does well at Milan this season.

Maybe he's not Benzema or Rooney either. He can't play as an AM , maybe from times to times. I used to think like you tho. Now imo the best way to get the best out of him is to have a great midfield behind him to feed him. anyways hopeless case .

Re: The Official Super Mario Fan Club
I'm actually gutted, because as someone noted before, Balotelli definitely means no Ibra. Which likely, unless our management suddenly gets some common sense and buys a creative midfielder, means no top 3.
