Lesnar's limited appearances mean his storylines won't be as exciting as well. Hope something exciting happens, tired of fillers that don't end up in much.
Jericho is putting people over and competing in great matches. I wish all part timers are as awesome as he is.

Re: The Official WWE Thread - Part 3
WWE is receiving more criticism from conservative websites including Twitchy and Breitbart.com for their Jack Swagger and Zeb Colter characters, accusing the company of bashing the Tea Party. WWE Senior VP of Marketing & Communications released the following statement to The Hollywood Reporter:
"WWE has a long history of creating fictional characters that serve as either protagonists or antagonists, no different than other television shows or feature films.
To create compelling and relevant content for our audience, it is important to incorporate current events into our storylines. WWE is creating drama centered on a topical subject that has varying points of view to develop a rivalry between two characters.
This storyline in no way represents WWE's political point of view. One should not confuse WWE's storytelling with what WWE stands for, similar to other entertainment companies such as Warner Bros., Universal Studios or Viacom."

Re: The Official WWE Thread - Part 3
TMZ is reporting that Jack Swagger was arrested following last night's SmackDown taping in Biloxi, Mississippi.
According to the report, Swagger was leaving the arena when he was pulled over for speeding. The officer who pulled him over said that Swagger was driving under the influence, and was found to have marijuana in his car.
Swagger was booked, and later released. He is being charged with DUI, marijuana possession, and speeding, all misdemeanors.
A WWE spokesperson told TMZ, "Mr. Swagger is responsible for his own personal actions."

In line with the WWE's policies, Swagger is off the Mania card for good (at least).
Would much rather see a Heel Orton / Del Rio or Mark Henry vs Del Rio, as both of those deserved to win the EC more than Swagger. Can't forget Ziggler in all of this either.

Re: The Official WWE Thread - Part 3
According to The Sun Herald out of Biloxi, Mississippi, Jack Swagger is scheduled to appear in court on March 12 on misdemeanor charges of driving under the influence, speeding and possession of marijuana.
ProWrestling.net pointed out that WWE has the legal right to fire Jack Swagger following his arrest last night. According to Section 14 of their Wellness Policy for discipline for violation of law:
Any WWE Talent, who is arrested, convicted or who admits to a violation of law relating to use, possession, purchase, sale or distribution of drugs will be in material breach of his/her contract with WWE and subject to immediate dismissal.
In addition to the penalties that may be imposed pursuant to his/her contract with WWE, a violation of this Section 14 may also be treated as a positive test for drugs prohibited by this Policy and therefore, subject to the penalties set forth in Section 15 of this Policy.

Ziggler may even cash in his contract early with all of this happening out of nowhere. It's going to be very reactive booking, but hopefully they do better with it than they do when they have all the time in the world.

Re: The Official WWE Thread - Part 3
Next week's RAW will be very interesting now, with the Lesnar / Vince dynamic and now the Swagger situation. IMO we will also know for sure whether Taker will wrestle at Mania or not.
The whole Cena vs. Punk match is just to buy a little more time before they pull the trigger.

Re: The Official WWE Thread - Part 3
What i can see is that during the Vince vs Heyman match. Lesnar comes in and tries to attack Vince. Then HHH comes out and saves him and then that sets up the feud for WM
IF taker is ready for WM then during the punk and Cena match Taker might just come on and attack punk that sets up their feud leaving Cena vs Rock as a single.

Re: The Official WWE Thread - Part 3
Punk vs Undertaker would be better if Punk was still a face.
I think Punk's lost credibility by turning heel, needing help to win and losing vs the Rock twice.

He looks better as a heel though. Maybe he can start mocking taker that he can easily end his streak and trash talk. Making taker look like a face

I think Undertaker's next opponent would have to be someone credible like Cena or the Rock.

Re: The Official WWE Thread - Part 3
I'm still believing in the possibility that we may see this:
Rock (C) vs. CM Punk vs. John Cena
Next week, Trips tries to save Vince but gets his arm broken or something. They play on last year's ending with all 3 on the stage and Vince says that if Brock wants to break HBK's arm and HHH's arm, then try and break the arm of the Undertaker. He convinces Taker to step up and challenge the beast at Mania.

I think the months after Mania will be Cena going back to feuding with midcarders and the odd big star at maybe Summerslam. There needs to be a few major turns to give Cena any credible opponents.

word is that Taker will not wrestle physical style because he's hurt. He's hesitant to go with a technical style ring general like punk so i dont think he's take the risk and face Lesnar (no matter how epic it would be)
