I didn't want to see a milestone topic being wasted on a Live match thread, or worse, post-match cribbing in case of a loss.
Anyway. 1000 topics till now on a wonderful community. Thank you all for making this place what it is, with the good, the bad and the ugly comments/contributions.

Oh and before someone brings it up, I am fully aware that I just wasted the 'milestone'.
I still see it as a lesser evil than a match thread in times as dark and gloomy as now.
EDIT: Strangely, it also fuelled my ego a bit to create a milestone thread.

Well, we also have more members than all of them combined, in all fairness.
What we don't have is more trophies than all of them combined. Or even some of them.

Actually, it was El Sharaawy's post in the lobby about us having 999 problems that prompted this. Last thing I wanted was topic 1000 on post-Swansea witchhunt.
