What is the best way to play against Barca?

Park the bus? Pressing? Possession? etc etc.

Luck.I never saw someone win without it

drop the lines back, load up the midfield with bodies behind the ball and keep it tight at the back, take the few chances u will get with clinical finishing.

Press high up the pitch, when you get the ball break very quickly and take your chances.

Thats really about it, but its easier said than done.

There is no way. You need a game plan which can work (might not, but you have to give yourself a chance) and luck.

You have to press at some point and defend deep at others, you cant do one or the other.

You press early and ruin the rhythem, get them uncomfortable. Hopefully get a goal.

However, you wont out-possession them, so eventually you going to struggle to press. At that point, narrow backline and an even more narrow midfield, compress the lines, defend deep, buckle your seatbelt and pray.

Counter-attacking and set pieces, if you've got a few big players.
That's for scoring goals of your own, obviously you'll need excellent defence as well.

1-25': Pressure high up the pitch
20-45': park the bus and counter attack
45-60': pressure high up the pitch
60-90': park the aeroplane and counter attack

Warning: You need good players who run their sucks off and some luck. As Art Morte said set-pieces are also very important.

Attack and lose big.

well it's depend f the players you get but of course it's better to have experimented players , players who are brave and willing to make sacrifice for each others

ex : chelsea 2012 and inter 2010

You will need:
*A well positioned defense at all times
*Critical finishing for the few chances you will get
*Use of size to go over Barca's defenders during a set piece
*Look for the counter-attack as it's one of your best chances
*A strong modification tailor made for Messi (like Pepe at DM in a 4-3-3)
*Park the bus
*Luck, Luck and luck.

And even with this it isn't always a win.

How well? And who would they be? Even if they could keep it, they'd have to finish well, pass extremely well (or they wouldnt keep it at all) and theyd have to take it to Barca offensively as relentlessly as barca would in order to avoid the opposite

I'd love to see Dortmund vs Barca. They do have that pressing and they gave Bayern a run for their money, too. They only got into problems this season as the other teams didn't allow them to use their counter attacks anymore and so they dropped points there, but against Barca it shouldn't be a problem for Dortmund to employ the tactics again that made them so dangerous versus Bayern, too.

A team who's capable of withstanding Barca's pressing. I'm sure it's possible, but most teams don't take advantage of the weaknesses of Barca's pressing. They just hoof it etc etc. But that's probably due to not having the players to retain the ball.

Enough to thwart the pressing.

Impossible to beat barca in their own game..Counter attack + the midfield to to play the high line. Every pass must count. Once you get close enough of their 16 yard box just shoot and your already 1 goal up. Valdes on the net is same as playing with an empty net anyway.

Not to nitpick but if you are talking about the 09 CL final when Barca won 2-0, Barca had 53% possession..

I would also add that you need to start the game very strong seeing as Barca tend to start the game very shaky
