Inter's selling Sneijder for 10 m
Wesley Sneijder has been handed a path out of Inter Milan after president Massimo Moratti confirmed an offer from Galatasaray has been accepted.
The Turkish side revealed that they had entered in discussions for the unsettled midfielder, who has not played for Inter since September amid a public stand-off over a proposed pay cut to his contract at San Siro.
The rift could now see the Holland international leave for Gala, who have reportedly offered €10million as well as agreeing to meet the player's demands.

Re: Inter's selling Sneijder for 10 m
Wow...I'm sure there are clubs in better leagues that pay the same amount as Gala do. Unless Sneijder is thinking about earning money, he should steer off anything that's not Germany/Spain/Italy/England.
Re: Inter's selling Sneijder for 10 m
all he cares about is money... cause we really don't want him to leave... we can't pay that much anymore... and he won't lower his wages... a lot of offers came in but none that meet his wage demand except for Gala...
Its all about the money for him!

oh man... no offense to the turkish league/clubs, but that's ridiculous. some big clubs are too dumb. just keep buying milners and allens for 20 mill..

I doubt many clubs in those countries can afford his wages and the ones that can either have better players or simply don't want him.

Re: Inter's selling Sneijder for 10 m
There are many clubs that can pay the transfer fee.
Not many which can meet his wage demands.
Which is why I said Sneijder may only be thinking about money.
Too young to go down the drain...class player as far as I'm concerned and could get into any team's midfield.

Re: Inter's selling Sneijder for 10 m
Here is one of the reason he didn't win the ballon d'or. People don't like him because he looks like an egoist.
Inter kept him and treat him well and they did the same with most of the players who won the treble ( giving a very good contract to 33 yo milito ).
but in order to leave , the guy simply didn't care anymore

he is going toearn 6milions euros / year . IT's not that much as he is not going to play in a top league anymore. Anyways

Get any to any midfield? I dont think so.
If im Bayern, Barca, Madrid, Juve and a few others I would have no interest whatsoever.

Arsenal need a creative, dynamic midfielder like him. Don't know about his attitude and wage demands, but one of the best in the world when on form
not gonna happen but it would be nice

Ozil, Kroos > Sneijder.... he doesn't work hard enough to fit into Barca or Juve systems and in some cases simply doesn't fit.
Its not that hard scratching really.

Wasn't he bought by Inter in a deal that included Eto'o or am I confusing things?

Re: Inter's selling Sneijder for 10 m
In order to make a team's midfield in the first place he has to be fit to play, which has not happened since 2010.

That I agree with. I was scratching at how he worded it "i have no interest was so whatever" ..didn't quite get what Franchise was trying to say but now i got it. thx
Sneijder from 2010 would get into any midfield imo. It's been so long since he was playing at his best..so nowadays he's a big risk for any big team to buy.

Re: Inter's selling Sneijder for 10 m
i honestly dont know too much about it but wouldnt a 10m transfer fee lead one to assume that gala were the only club that made an official offer.
even with his high wages, a fee as low as 10m for the likes of sneijder more than makes up for his high wages for many years.
10m even with his high wages is a steal.
this just makes me think that gala were the only club interested- which is kinda hard to believe tbh.

it's only a steal if you're guaranteed to get a fit Sneijder, ready to play and stay focused like 2010 when he was pulling the strings for Inter in their treble winning season.
It's a big risk now because i don't remember the last time he played, and has replicated 50% of what he's capable of recently.

Re: Inter's selling Sneijder for 10 m
well he hasnt played in about 2 months because inter refused to play him unless he took a huge pay cut.
hes still a great player. its just unfortunate he is so injury prone, but we have to remember that injuries can happen to any player
also i think a new challenge will revitalise wesley. we will have to wait and see though

Re: Inter's selling Sneijder for 10 m
Considering his attitude + wage demands I don't find it that hard to believe Gala was the only club where he could go.
Who wants to risk spending 6m a year on a player that hasn't been on form for two and a half years and has attitude issues?

Re: Inter's selling Sneijder for 10 m
Isn't his name alone worth the 10m to someone? Well anyway I would love to see his career revived he's an exciting talent, hopefully not in Turkey though.
Would be surprised if he didn't end up at a high level probably psg anzhi or spurs etc maybe even city after their europe campaign he would definitely bolster the experience there.
