Cannavaro: Juve the best in Serie A
Former Napoli and Juventus defender Fabio Cannavaro has had his say on this season's Serie A title race.
The 39-year-old was a youth team graduate at the Partenopei, but spend some of his most productive years at the Bianconeri, and believes that Antonio Conte's side will retain the Scudetto come May.
“Juventus are definitely the strongest team in the League,” he told reporters at the Ballon d'Or ceremony in Zurich.
“It is normal that there will be difficulties along the way, such as yesterday's defeat to Sampdoria, for example.
“And especially now that Giorgio Chiellini is out injured.
“I think Napoli may have been a bit destabilized by the rumours of Walter Mazzarri's departure, but you can see that the team is growing again.”
